We can settle this by playing NBA JAM!!!!!!!!!! No but seriously if these duos’ were to play two on two in real life I doubt anybody is beating Russ and KD.

    Mayo and Gay
    Rose and Noah
    Gordon and Griffin
    Wall and Blatche

would be my top 5 in a two on two setting.

    1st – Durant & Westbrook (Not Westbrook & Durant)
2nd – Roy & Aldridge (If Aldridge fills his potential, they could be number 1 even if that Durant guy is up there)
    3rd – Evans & Cousins (I really like Cousins)
    4th – Jennings & Bogut
5th – Gordon & Griffin (Call me crazy, but I could see both of these becoming Stars unlike the rest of the duos)
6th – Rose & Noah (Noah isn’t THAT GOOD YET to push this duo higher)
7th – Curry & Lee (Lee is relatively old..)
8th – Wall & Blatche (I’m not a believer in Blatche filling his Potent.)
9th – Mayo & Gay (I really don’t see this tandem lasting, personally Gasol & Mayo would’ve been better for me)
10th – Williams & Lopez (T-Will is good, but far below most of the others above)
11th – Collison & Hibbert (Hibbert..? Seriously? Sorry Collison, he isn’t going to cut it)

guys i think he was talking about how they performed together on the court as a duo..not individually..
of course durant and westbrook have the most talent..
i think he meant how they played together…

plus he have duos that never played together..
you dont know how they’ll do yet..

    1. Durant and Westbrook- Basically this could be Durant plus anyone and they still would be at the top

    2. Roy and Aldridge- Both these players could have been on this summer’s USA team if they were not dealing w/ injuries. Roy is legit and that can’t be argued. Aldridge’s proven low post offense helps move them up as a duo.

    3. Rose and Noah- Noah’s sketchy offense hurts them as a duo, but when looking at these two and their playoff numbers against the last two East #1 seeds… it’s impressive.

    4. Jennings and Bogut- I feel, like most others, that Jennings is going to continue to make huge strides in his game and considering his age; he can be scary good. Bogut has shown he can produce and somewhat live up to his Number 1 Pick Overall hype. Very few centers are consistently better than him.

    5. Mayo and Gay- The scoring these two can produce is overwhelming. Maybe they don’t get the recognition because of their continuous spot in the lottery?

    6. Evans and Cousins- The play of Tyreke puts them ahead of Gordon/Griffin for me. Cousins looks promising, but unproven. (and yes I know the season hasnt started so he hasnt even been given the chance to properly prove himself)

    7. Gordon and Griffin- How much of Griffin will we see this season and how we he show after a yr off w/ injury? His play will shape the Clippers franchise for the next couple years minimum.

    8. Curry and Lee- Not sold on Blanche yet. Going w/ Lee.

    9. Wall and Blanche- Can anyone even see Wall’s ceiling?

    10 and 11- Not even close…..

    1. Westbrook and Durant – Team USA and Gold, I think that says enough about the potential of this duo. I believe Durant will lead the league in scoring again and Westbrook’s defense this Summer was crazy

    2. Evans and Cousins – Last year Reke showed what he could do without much help, now he finally gets some help up front that isn’t in the form of Spencer Hawes. Providing Cousins leaves his attitude problems back in Kentucky I think he will be able to be a 15 and 10 guy early on and from there only get better.

    3. Gay and Mayo – I was honestly quite shocked when Mayo was cut from Team USA, I thought he would get in there for sure. But at the same time, I see that they didn’t exactly need much help at the SG position, I guess KD did a decent job there haha. Mayo still has growing to do in terms of his playmaking and I believe that eventually he will be the answer to the Grizzlies problem at the point. Gay on the other hand, this guy is only going to get better, his athleticism will allow him to make an impact on games and I was quite impressed with how his jumpshot has become a more dominant part of his game.

    4. Rose and Noah – Rose is elite, he is an All-Star, there is no question about that. Noah on the other hand, I honestly see some question marks over him. There is no doubt he is a great defensive player and energy guy but I never really see him taking his game to the next level with a greater offensive game. It seems as though he has nearly reached his potential….

    5. Jennings and Bogut – They should be higher because of their exceptional play last year, but they sit at 5 in my mind because of Bogut and his injuries. As an Aussie it annoys me more than anything to see this guy injured every offseason, especially after he was living up to his potential last season. Jennings was great last season, any question marks about his ability to play at the NBA level after being in Europe were thrown out the window. He was consistent in his play and I feel as if his jumpshot will only improve as well as his playmaking ability, and that can only help Bogut.

    Just missed out:
Wall and Blatche – Blatche was great at the end of last season after Jamison left, and I think we need more time to evaluate him before saying how good he could be as he has only just started getting good minutes. There isn’t much to be said about Wall. He was born to be a star.

Gordon and Griffin – Similar to Blatche, I want to see Griffin in big minutes coming off his injury. I want to see if he will have the same explosiveness. At the moment his potential is nearly winning him awards but I want to see him go to work on the court first. Gordon showed his intangibles with Team USA and emerged as a much better defender than people give him credit for, not to mention his shooting ability which was on full display

How can Roy and Aldridge not be in your top five? They’re arguably at the top if we’re talking about next season.

I also think that Gay and Mayo are overrated as a duo. They don’t even play well together. They’re like Ray Allen and Glenn Robinson were in Milwaukee.

I also don’t understand how you can rank Gordon/Griffin and Wall/Blatche low because you haven’t seen them, but then rank Evans/Cousins second.

I really don’t rate them highly in the future, Roy is strong, but Aldridge has not been a reliable option for the Blazers, he is soft in the post and he can’t defend many NBA bigs. Most importantly, I don’t see Aldridge improving much in the future. As I said, thats just my opinion

RudeBoy even if he meant how well they played together who played better then Durant and Russ on that list and Mayo and Gay dont really play well cuz they’re both scorers who arent great at moving the ball around yet…

And I gave my list first and got negatives on it, yet everybody elses looks is looking just like mine and they get points, if people are going to hate for some unknown reason lets keep it educated and instead of just clicking the red thumbs down button tell me atleast what you disagree about it…

There is nothing worse in forums where we are suppose to be having educated discussions guys with a grudge just clicking the thumbs down and never giving a reason why they disagree, the whole point of forums and discussions boards is to do just that discuss…

And another thing, are there really people on here that think OJ and Gay aka Heath and Jake, are better then Westbrook and Durant? Please tell me how you could possibly think this,,,

Yeah but their the only duo of those that have made it to the playoffs in the tough, tough west the last two years in a row.

And how can you not rate them top seven?

Roy is the second best player on that list imo.

And Aldridge is the only player on that list besides Lopez who puts up 18, and 8, hes still 24, he needs to bulk up, but hes not a bad defender, although his best asset is pick & roll defense hes a decent defender.

He couldnt rebound a basketball to save his life though.

anyone that doesnt have kd and westbrook and roy and aldridge in the top 2 needs to reassess their basketball knowledge. both those tandems have atleast 5 years of great basketball together and have already proved what they can do. any of the other duos can be argued to our deathbeds but those 2 should be written in permanent marker.

1st – Durant & Westbrook – will be the best because of durant for westbrook is talented 2 but durant is the main attraction
2nd – Roy & Aldridge – both gotta stay healthy
3rd – Rose & Noah – if noah improves on offense this will be scary
    4th – Jennings & Bogut
    5th – Mayo & Gay
