I think this draft is pretty deep at the 4 spot this year. I think people on this forum have wonderfully diverse opinions about how these prospects rank up. Aside from Davis (consesus number one in my book) and drummond (probably a 5 once he develops) how do you rank the next 5 power forwards (in no particular order right now):

    Sullinger

    Jones

    Robinson

    Moultrie

    Henson

Do you think these players are in tiers [I guess I do by limiting it to these five]? is there someone I missed?

    1. Thomas Robinson-What’s not to like? He’s very athletic, can post up, face up, not to mention he’s 2nd in the nation in rebounds.

    2. Jared Sullinger-Most refined post game out of these guys, and like Robinson, he has a solid mid-range game, and can extend his jump shot to the 3 point line (40%). Also, cutting some of that baby fat this year gave him a little extra quickness.

    3. Perry Jones-When he’s dialed in, he’s arguably the best power forward in the nation, as seen yesterday when he outplayed Thomas Robinson. He’s a ridiculous athlete with nice ball-handling skills and has the highest ceiling, in my opinion, out of these 5.

    4. John Henson-He’s the best defender out of these 5, thanks to his ridiculous 7-4 wingspan, which helps him block 3 shots a game. He’s definitely progressed on the offensive side, he has a nice little left hand hook shot he likes to use now. He’d be higher if he wasn’t so skinny.

    5. Arnett Moultrie-He’s a very good athlete with good size, rebounds well, but his defense and post game could use some work.

I like all 5 of these guys, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they all went in the top half of the 1st round.

Sullinger – He reminds me of Zach Randolph, big and strong with great touch and range, monster on the boards, crafty for his position, not much hops and speed, but has the talent IQ to play through it

Jones – At his size and skill level could be a lot better and could be a franchise guy, but the motor isn’t all the way there. Doesn’t really have a position, he’s a lot like Lamar Odom, which I don’t think is a great thing considering his skill, but he’s too talented for me to pass. Right spot, right situation he could excel and be an all-star

Robinson – Good all-around player, but I can’t see him being an all-star, unlike the 1st two guys. I think he could be a productive post like Paul Milsap, although he’s taller, he plays like him, tough nosed, go after the ball, active, great rebounder, more of a value pick, albeit a good one.

Henson – I think he could be a great bench player, athletic, runs the floor, finishes well, shot blocker, decent shot, needs to get stronger but with his frame I can’t see him getting much stronger. If I were in need for a guy to a fixture for my franchise, I’d pass, but for a late lotto, playoff team, or second pick of draft, he’d be a good value pick. I view him like Kennieth Faried– not a guy who will ever be a starter, but can be a great bench player, has some value.

Moultrie – Athletic, solid rebounder, solid length, but that’s all I’ve seen from him. Need’s and should get stronger, has the frame. Not much of a postgame or footwork, ok touch and shot but nothing impressive. I really would bother drafting this guy. I see him being a bench warmer or bench player for bad teams. Not a fan of his game, but for his sake I hope he proves me wrong.
