IndianaBasketballParticipantRight now:
1. Chris Bosh – Second best player on Heat right now.
2. Carmelo Anthony – We all know his weaknesses, but we know his strengths too.
3. Kevin Love – Let’s see him lead Minnesota to the playoffs. I still don’t think he’s a go-to player.

db24kb24ParticipantKlove is the #1 option on minny, so his #s look gr8. He is the worst "go-to" player out of the 3.
Melo gets his wherever, albeit volume. But he may be the best/most consistent scorer and closer.
Bosh has transformed from a go-to to a 3rd wheel and he still is thriving. If u swapped melo and bosh melo would try to be That Guy and he’d kill MIA chemistry. We’ve seen Melo and Bosh as #1 options already and they both had success ….so it’s personal opinion along with what environment they’re in.

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantCarmelo Anthony is the most overrated player in the NBA. He is all about stats/himself. Bosh and Love are team players and are more interested in winning than looking good. The Knicks I’m sure wish they had a chance to that trade over again.

So raspyParticipantCarmelos a proven star. The knicks mess of a team right now shouldn’t take away from his past playoff success. Him and Love are both better than Bosh without a doubt

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAfter everyone was raving about how KLove was the top PF in the league, now he’s not even better than Bosh?
Pick a lane guys.

HaleParticipantThe only 2 people (at first glance) who didn’t put Love ahead of Bosh are Indiana and myself. We both have made our opinions pretty clear that we are not jumping all over the Love bandwagon until he wins more.

HaleParticipantHe won 47 games and was the 3rd seed in the East 06-07. He made the playoffs twice in Toronto. Kevin Love has won like 65 games in his career. Bosh never took a team a team to less then 20 wins, maybe even 30 (not sure), and no his teams weren’t that talented either so don’t give me that argument. Love as the guy last year led the Wolves to the worst record in the NBA.
Love is a great, great player but almost everyone on the forum is hopping on his bandwagon just because he has great numbers and beat the Clippers with one shot (sucked the whole game up until that point). Personally I believe Rubio and Adelman have been more important to the team’s success this year.

invalidParticipanteast 47w is good enough for 3rd seed in 06-07. nice. ok i wont give you that arguement. im not a fan of bosh though he’s great, great player that you (k)LOVE. Personally I believe Wade and Bron have been more important to the team’s success in Miami.

Mr. 19134ParticipantYupYup hit it on the head by realizing that every year is different and this year things are different. Before it would have to be unanimously Melo, Bosh, Love. But this year you gotta say Love, Bosh, Melo.
And BTW Bosh and Love are very similar players. First off I don’t know how many of you people realize that Love put up better athletic scores across the board at the combine. Love has a higher vert and runs the court faster. Now that don’t translate to playing styles because Love is more of a bruiser and Bosh is more of a quick finesse forward. But Bosh proved he either be the franchise player or player off of another superstar. Love is proving he can be a franchise player, but if you were traded to the Lakers tomorrow his game would also flourish playing with a superstar in Kobe.
Melo on the otherhand is either the franchise or he’s not playing for your franchise. Which is a shame because he has the skill set to blend great with another star he’s just too ball dominant and is a glory hogger/finger pointer.

HaleParticipantTo your first point, of course Wade and LeBron are more important they are 2 of the top 4 players on earth.
"and i never put a neg on your comment as you had answered my question just saying"
To this, we’re cool. I didn’t think you did neg me, and even if you had that’s up to you.

invalidParticipantthats right they are likely the best of players on earth(wade, bron). my point is rubio could be (who knows) at some point in be at the same level as them. so if wolves will have a winning season it’ll be unfair for love no to get some credit as much as rubio and adelman would have
