BasterdInABasketParticipantDarren Collison shot 52.5 percent on 3s in his last season at UCLA and 40 percent on NBA 3s as a rookie. In fact, the biggest question is why he didn’t take more — only 15 percent of his shots were triples, one of the lowest rates among point guards.
Top Foul Rate, PF/40 Min, 09-10
Fabricio Oberto 7.45
Solomon Jones 7.41
H Thabeet 7.34
J Brockman 7.04
Amir Johnson 7.02Worst Shooting % At Basket
Jennings .397
Yi .435
Harden .442Maggette once again led all perimeter players in free throw attempts per field goal attempt with an astounding .622. He cashes them in, too, shooting 82.1 percent from the line for his career. Defensively he went from December 12th to the end of the year without recording a block.
In Euroleague play last season, Timofey Mozgov committed 50 fouls in 218 minutes, a phenomenal rate that would have him fouling out, on average, just after halftime of an NBA game. Additionally, he committed a turnover every 9½ minutes. Those factors are likely to make him a backup center at best while the Knicks wait for him to develop further.
Ryan Anderson nearly led ORL in points per 40 minutes, finishing 0.1 behind Carter and ahead of Howard.
Igoudala took only 31.4 percent of his shots in the basket area, which is ridiculous given his superior finishing skills and he made 65% of those attempts
Amir Johnson averaged a phenomenal 7.02 fouls per 40 minutes last year. He wont be the answer at the 4 replacing Bosh if he can’t stay on the floor.
Toronto, which was already one of the worst defensive teams in history, gave up a whopping 8.5 points per 100 possessions more with Bargnani on the court. Bargnani also finished last in the league in steal per 40 minutes.
