    So i got the game today (PS3) and its really good.

    but i tried to go online (the connection and everything else works) 

    but it doest let me play online and says – 2k online service is not available yet (something like that)

    what does this mean?

    is it because the game is new and the online thing hasnt been set up yet?

    I live in Canada (could that be the reason) 

    Any help is appriciated

    I live in Monterey, California and bought it today for PS3 and the online thing is not working as well. Help much appreciated.

     Same thing with me for PS3. I could not play an online game, it would just continue to say searching for opponents.

    its the same with 360…i guess its taking awhile to get the servers up…im kinda pissed

    Does that give me the right to return it as i assumed i could play online (I know its going to get better but i just want an excuse to get a different game and dont know if thats valid enough excuse for me to return it to the retailer)

    You think that’s a problem? How about buying it, coming home, only to get the game to freeze at the load screen. I can change settings, look at rosters, but soon as I get to the point of picking teams and it loading the actual ‘game’ it just stays "Loading" forever. So if not being able to play online is your problem, at least you can still play offline, I hope to get my money back today.

     I think it might just be a combinatiion of everyone trying to do it all at once, as well as the fact its new and it may not have worked all the kinks out. Hopefully it will work by the time I get home from work today. ;

      A number of people have experienced glitches and freezing.  It seems like this was just poorly tested/rushed out.

    personally i havent had any clitches or freezing but the loading takes longer then the last game (not a big problem) in my opinion

    Is your memory full?
    First time i loaded it it did the same thing, i went back to the main screen deleted the NBA 2k12 demo and it worked.
