FutureNBAGMParticipantNo one wants Boozer’s contract, and besides Charlotte already has Biyombo what they need is a center

frogmanParticipantAnyone else find it weird that the trade machine has the hornets as the team but Gordon, Anderson and Vasquez as pelicans players? Anywho why the Bobcats who are in the most rebuildingly (even though that’s not a word) phase any team has ever been in, in the history of professional sports would give their 4th pick away for a soon to be 32 year old pf and a pg with little upside is beyond me. And the pelicans are losing 3 of their 4 best players which is just mind numbingly stupid.
And have you ever posted on this site without a trade idea? Try it.

don042488ParticipantFirst and foremost you idiots don’;t know basketball, because if you did you would know the Jordan been trying to acquire Boozer for years now, to give the front court a vet, plus Boozer went to Duke which is in Charlotte (so that’s a good pr move), and Jordan has also been willing to shop the #4 pick as long as a team takes Tyrus Thomas’s contract away, so if you don’t know your proper info keep your f**cking hating a$$ comments/opinions to yourself…Someone said that’s a bad trade for the Hornets, are you serious? You get Deng as your small forward, you could draft Oladipo or Ben Mclemore 4th, and then with their 6th pick draft Trey Burke, so now you have Robin Lopez, Anthony Davis, Deng, Oladipo or Mclemore, Trey Burke, and Austin Rivers as the sixth man, that’s decent…@Frogman It could happen a$$hole, I actually know someone close to Dell Demps, and he respects my idea/basketball IQ, so it’s a possibility. For the moron who said Vasquez has little upside, they said the same thing when he came out of college, as a scoring point guard, and last season he averaged 9 assist a game, you sound stupid…smh Kemba is only 5’11 (although he’s listed at 6’1), so to have a 6’7 point guard backing him up or could play beside him at shooting guard sometimes, would be great

SmooveKRYPTParticipantYeah Jordan would deal the 4th if someone would take Tyrus Thomas with it, but not to take back an even worse contract in Boozer. In that case they’re better off drafting Bennet and using the amnesty on Tyrus. The only team that wins in this is the Bulls

Mad MaxParticipantTerrible for Charlotte, they get railed bad here. However, I should expect terrible trades coming from you and your stupid quizzical expression on your face.

jhbm24ParticipantSo who is boozer suppose to teach? Biyambo? Mullens? What prospect do they have that he would mentor because none of those guys will ever learn from boozer that will help. And you don’t give up Eric Gordan for Lou Deng… Especially when his trade value is even lower cause of jimmy butler, the bobcats waste a top 5 pick for contract dumps, I don’t think so. The bulls wouldn’t want to take on two huge contracts because that limits their ability to do things, yeah it gets em Eric Gordan but you don’t want both you backcourt to be knee problems.. And that guy who respects your basketball knowledge must be trying to be nice.

Bigstinky34ParticipantWhy would the Bobcats do that??? They could trade the 4th pick and get Eric Gordon for themselves… Makes no sense for Charlotte… They have Biyombo and Mullens who played really well last year… Boozer is at the end of his career and why trade the 4th pick to get him when you can get Anthony Bennett or maybe Nerlens Noel in the draft…

HotSnotParticipantThe bobcats need interior scoring and a bigman who can hit a jumpshot. Boozer does both of those things. Mediocre 1 on 1 defender and poor help defender.
The biggest reason the Bobcats Shouldnt do this is because with Boozer and a few other pieces they might actually be a .500 ball club… Tops. The Bobcats don’t need to start winning for another season or 2. Don’t screw it up by playing better and eating up cap space. Do like the Thunder did. Use your cap space (when you have it) to acquire players and picks from teams looking to get under the cap. Thats the best way to build. The Bobcats have been patient for 3 seasons now. Diop,Carrol, Thomas will finally be coming off the Cap. Don’t screw that up.
Lastly, you want to make sure you have the cap space, young pieces and picks teams are always looking for when a good trade comes along in your favor.

augustmatt5ParticipantI’m not sure Boozer currently carries much value at the moment due to the reports that the Bulls are considering using the amnesty on him. I think most team will wait and see with Boozer and the Bulls and hope they can grab him at a much reduced rate.
IMO the Bobcats should not look to add expensive long term vets to this roster. They should continue to build through the draft and try to get creative with international and d-league players. Charlotte has too many needs to to lock up resources on one or two players.
