Lotto StudParticipantConstructive criticism is asked of you. If you do not agree with a team’s selection or player’s range please give an explanation and I will take heed in the near future. Thank you in advance.
Link is under my user.
My focus is only for the First Round until the week of the Draft. I will do write ups once I get the feedback I need to construct a better Mock.

Z-LegendParticipantSixers taking Parker at 3, I can understand. But, Nurkic at 10 ? Seriously ?? On top of that, you slipped both Harris, Stauskas, and Hood all the way down below Nurkic, Lavine, and Payne ??? No idea where that line of reasoning came from, but I’m pretty sure nobody, nor any other publications, has any similar draft order.

Lotto StudParticipantMy reasoning behind the slips (Harris, Stauskas, Hood) were "fit" for the other prospects along the lines of a lot of various things such as the combine (LaVine) or how I feel the impact will be (Payne). If you look at my Top 10 you will see things are tricky from 5-7 because those are the BPA and I honestly wouldn’t think either of those guys would slide from that range which would be huge to the Draft realm.
I used to follow the Sixers franchise closely when I previously lived in the area. With the #10 I may be living off the old knowledge I had within the franchise of them reaching on the "under the radar" project guys but hey I clearly see I know nothing now.
I know my board looks very weird but if I move a lot of guys up many guys will have to slide, it’s a give or take regardless to how we all see it.

Z-LegendParticipantOh, you’re welcome. Any time. But dude, your talking about the Draft Combine. Well, you do know that both Stauskas and Hood had stellar showings too, right ?

Flameres15ParticipantOkay. Just a few things.
1. Smart over Exum is understandable, but there isn’t really a fit with Victor Oladipo.
2. The Kings should not draft an undersized PF again. They have not had much luck in that department (ie. Thomas Robinson, Pattrick Patterson, Derrick Williams). A better choice would be to trade down a few slots and draft Tyler Ennis. He is a bigger, better point guard than Isaiah Thomas. Ennis would fit the role of facilitator to the many scoring options on the Kings roster.
3. Nurkic, Payne, and Early are too high. Payne and Early are older than the rest of the group, and that tends to make people fall a bit. Also Nurkic is not really an option for the 76ers with Nerlens Noel, and at pick 10 it is too early to get a back up or draft and stash player. Better options would be 10-LaVine or Stauskas; 12- Hood, Capela, or Saric; 15- Hood, Saric, SloMo (Kyle Anderson), or Stauskas if he falls.
4. Garry Harris and Nick Stauskas are too low. Look for Harris to be in the 9-14 range, and Stauskas at the 8-12 range.
otherwise this is a good mock, and I would like to see the second round.

Flameres15ParticipantI am also not liking or seeing the Jeramine O’Neal- Joel Embiid comparison.

theEDGEParticipant2. I thought that mcCallum did a good job when Thomas was out.

Lotto StudParticipant- I see every reason to pair the two especially since Smart was able to play well with Markel Brown as his backcourt mate. Oladipo surprised us all last year in his predraft workouts displaying his ball-handling ability. I’m quite sure since no one seen that in him prior to the draft, it would be nothing for him to elevate his game to incorporate a decent jumper this upcoming season. Dipo strikes me as a workaholic, I see that he wants to defeat odds.
- When it comes to Sacramento, I personally feel they should go with a 3-man such as McDermott who I placed there in my first Mock this Spring but I got chewed apart for it.
- As for Early I contemplated on Hood at that spot but I felt as though with the team’s mold, Early would be the better option because he’s Swiss Army compared to Hood.
- I know where there range should be but look at how the board fell. The team needs do not matchup for me to plug them in just any random situation for the purpose of fulfilling their range.
I appreciate the feedback as well.
Just to touch on the Second Round. I know it would be pleasing to see me take a stab at it, but I feel it would be pointless until the week of the draft because my priority round dictates what the outcome of the other selections will be. I just don’t want to keep revamping a whole Mock based off quite a few picks that need to be shuffled in the First.

machu46ParticipantI definitely agree with some of the others that Payne is too high and Stauskas/Harris are too low, but Nurkic is right around where he should be. It’s been speculated that he’s a guy that Philly will consider at 10, and he’s expected to be taken around that range by pretty much everyone. Personally, I have him going 11 to Denver.

Lotto StudParticipantIf it’s not a problem since you are higher on Nurkic than anyone else I’ve seen speak on him, could you please post any links you have on him being projected this high.

machu46ParticipantDraftExpress currently has him going 11th to Denver in their latest mock draft I believe.

JoeWolf1I don’t think Smart goes four. Yes, the Magic really wanted him last year, but I think given the choice they’d take Exum. Having John Stockton’s long time backup, and a guy who learned from Pop in the twilight of his career as a head coach, I think they nab a PG, but I think it’s Exum.
That’s the main thing that jumps out. Your mock is much different than mine, but a lot of the scenarios you’ve presented are certainly plausable.
I’m not big on Nurkic, but he’s the 2nd rated center in the class, so his value could vault for a team looking for size.
I’d take Payne top 13, but I’m not sure he’ll go there because of his age.
