I think this trade works for both teams. Sacramento needs a shooter and Cook provides that cheaply and his contract is expiring. The Thunder needs another low post threat and Thompson could provide that and he is expendable because the Kings already have Dalembert, Cousins, Landry and Whiteside. Thoughts?

That’s a TERRIBLE trade. Cook is nowhere near the player Thompson is. Dalembert is a rental player. Thompson is most likely the starting power forward for next season. Cook should be happy to get a jersey next season

doubt it, thompson still has a lot of potential and is a young big vs a young perimiter shooter. Kings would be better off sticking with thompsin since guys like cook could be had for pennies pretty much every off season.

With Whiteside, Cousins, Landry and Dalembert, their front court is pretty full. Green could play the 3, where he belongs and flourish. Thompson is a true PF which OKC needs…

Im guessing your a Thunder fan. I hate when people do this. Lakers fans make up trades like Sasha Vujacic and Adam Morrison for Jeff Green and Nenad Kristic which would never ever ever ever happen. This is basically one of those trades, OK player for great, young player.
