I knew Macklin would get invited. It’s only right because he is P-towns finest.

Lots of my favorite players are participating in the PIT, and i really how they do well so they can prove themselves to these NBA scouts.

    – Delroy James

    – Demontez Stitt

    – Bill Clark

    – Damian Saunders

    – Lavoy Allen

    – Frank Hassell

And i thought that Denzel Bowles was going to be in this, i don’t see his name on any rosters.

Looks like Jon Leuer turned down his invite.

I guess Leuer backed out at the last minute.  Haven’t players done that before?  Guess that is why they had alternatives.

I think it happens every year. I know that guys who ended up in the Final Four have backed out before. Some of it might be nagging injuries from the season, but it might also be that now some of these guys are getting representatives and don’t want a bad showing.

After going 1-12 from the field in his final tournament game, if Jon Leuer backed out, he deserves to be picked in the late 2nd round — if at all.

According to Alex Kennedy’s twitter feed Josh Harrellson is withdrawing from the Portsmouth Invitational with flu-like symptoms. He also reports Jacob Pullen and Jamie Skeen will pull out, though because they have not sneezed today there are no reports of flu-like symptoms being the reason.

Alex Tyus, Joe Trapani, and Jeremiah Rivers named as replacements for those three.

I wonder if Doc & Austin will be there to watch Jeremiah.

You better hope they are, that might be your only incentive to go now with all the bigger names pulling out of this invitational.
