TarHeelRavenParticipantreally a no-brainer. I think he said he wants to coach 4-5 more years. The Spurs might be favorites to repeat next year. They resigned Diaw, Duncan has aged gracefully, they still have Parker and Ginobili, Kawhi is a rising star and they might get Pau who would fit perfectly in that system. Pop is the best coach in the NBA and I don’t think it’s even close. People get put off by his mid-game interviews and how short he is, but I give him a pass on that and he’s gotten better. He has a great sense of humor and obviously has the loyalty of his players. I heard a story about him playing connect four with a kid somewhere and was having a blast. I loved his counting of his fingers his 5 titles at the championship celebration, obviously a knock on the Heat. I used to hate the Spurs and Tim Duncan because of their boring basketball. I come to really respect them and how well their organization is run.
