Like seriously….there should be some restrictions on this point system…one min I have 20 points or so, the next I have 13 because some douche stalks me and doesn’t like that people agree with my ideas over theirs. I think I know who it is but I’m not going to go there. I’m probably going to get the good ol thumbs down but whatever, it doesn’t speak of actual knowledge anyway. I’m just posting this because its petty, why not just have a like option or something?

All I can say to you is to try and not worry about the points; they are more of a novelty here. If your posts are worthwhile then chances are that people will start to notice and you will get credit.

I’m on this site to hear other people opinion, to learn about prospects, and to talk some good basketball talk, not to get trolled by some dumbass that disagrees with me once so he has to find every post I made to give me a thumbs down. I think the developers put the points here to show acolade right?

This site is all about stating your mind. This site is not a competition to see who gets the most points. If you agree or disagree with something, go ahead and say it. This site is all about opinion. Everyone is going to have their own opinions and if others don’t agree with yours, then so be it.

Dont worry about it man. Trust me just be yourself and people will respect your posts and your poster. If you worry about points you will not have as much fun. I know your saying OH BUT YOU ONLY HAVE -50 POINTS. Well I enjoy being myself and part of my character strongly dislikes the NYK Franchise, and will not pretend to like Knicks fans just for points. Go get yourself I nice picture to post, let it be known which team your repping, teach and learn fellow users and have fun, dont get caught up in points drama. LOL Dnyce has -22000 points and he makes some very very good posts.

I know what dude is saying. It is not so much about point but the fact that one person who does not like your posts will minus all of your posts. I mean I have gone from 800 to somewhere in 600 for a time because a few people did not like a post i did and did i realize a lot of points from my older posts were being taken as well.
I dont really trip on point but it does worry you if someone actually takes the time to go to your old posts and take your points.
Seriously what kind of person does that.
That is so Psycho type stuff.
Narc i gave you some points and I took away some people points who were trying to talk hard on this chat about not caring about points. I bet I am at 600 or so point after today but it is cool.
I am starting to think i would rather be in the negative

Knicks is not my team but is my homies and I know them better than most Knicks fans and I am not even a fan.

yeah, I’ve gotten some of the same things. I’ve gotten negs on posts that are like 2-3 days old and they aren’t even in the first or second page of all the threads. It’s funny how some people will go out their way to neg you by going to threads that are old as H*ll.
But don’t even worry man. Some people will go around and neg your posts and your old posts for no reason, but there are actually some who neg you cause they simply disagree with you.

If your point total drops to a certain amount, you get blacklisted by the OLIA officers on the site and they pay close attention to what you say.
It’s a way of keeping spammers and trolls out.
Oh, and positive points are fun because the more you have, the more jealous tli232 is of you.
