Ahkasi ClayParticipantThe Players Union just walked out of negotiations,
did not even offer a counter proposal,
looks like they want it all, or nothing?

TyroberParticipantI dont understand this. The league can not lose money. There is 22 out of 30 teams in the NBA losing money. They need to figure out how every owner can make 10-15million and take that away from player salaries. Is it right that a team should have a 60-70 million player payroll and then the owner lose money? I just do not understand what they are doing. I know they want to get as much money as possible, but they have to realize their "bosses" can not lose, because that is when employees get laid off

Memphis MadnessParticipantOf course this happens. The Grizzlies had a great playoff run and finished as essentially the fifth best team in the NBA. Plus, we get Rudy Gay back and then had a great draft pickup with Josh Selby. Hopefully there is a season next year.
Lockout Winner: The Mavs and Dirk. The Mavs get to hav an extended celebration (yes, I am mainly referring to DeShawn Stevenson). Dirk gets to play for his German homeboys this summer then maybe get another good break when he finishes that tournament.
Lockout Loser: LeRingless. He gets to think about losing for a LONG offeason. If there is no season then LeBron may go into his 10th season still without a ring and another year older.
Lockout Winner: The Cavs. They totally screwed up their draft, but if there is no season then the same teams might be picking first. So the Cavs will have another shot at a player with superstar potential.
Lockout Winner: Jonas the Raptors new center. He will be playing overseas anyway so he might be the most well-conditioned player going into the 2012-2013 season.

DoubleNickelsDurr55ParticipantTime for the NBA to show that the NBA really does care and come to a compromise. Look at the NFL shit is wack arguing over millions and billions of dollars.

TyroberParticipantNot even trying to counter makes them look childish in my opinion. Their salaries should be rolled back to where every team can make 10-15 million in total profits for the owner.
