They currently have the 15th, 18th, 42nd, and 48th picks which is great if your rebuilding, but this team already has a lot of young talent to work with. I really think they will try to make a big trade before the deadline. I think it was TOL23 who mentioned before that they not only almost Gasol earlier, but they also went after Melo and Bosh as well. They would love to get Howard and even though there isnt a great chance he would want to go there, it comes down to which team can offer Orlando the most and I think they have a chance.

Who they draft depends on when and if they make a big deal. If they get a deal done before the deadline then they will most likely go for poisitions in need, especially if they do end up getting howard bc they will have to give up a ton. if they wait until the offseason to make a trade then i could see them just going BPA and packaging their young talent for a star.

This situation makes it extremely difficult to predict who they will go after, but I could see them using their two mid first rounders to move up to get a hopeful star. I could see them going after a true center in the first and even in the second round either go after someone like Fab Melo or Meyers Leonard in the first or somebody like Ezeli, Sacre, or Sims in the secound.

I honestly want them to go after high potential players instead of getting the low bust, high character guys that they already have. They are a good team and no I dont think they necessarily need a star to win, but it would be good for them to get a young star to build around with their already solid team. Maybe somebody like Beal, PJIII, or Leonard will fall to their first pick and maybe they can get somebody like Melo, Teague, or Wroten with their second and hope they can develop into studs.

John Henson won’t fall past 15, and you have the Heat getting him?

look at how many people got him ranked outside their 20 buckshot… some people think he is a bust.

    1.Myers Leonard—Jermaine Oneal is trash

    2.Tyler Zeller—same reason

3.Terrance Jones—-he could maybe do what Jeff Green was supposed to be…I really don’t know what Green’s situation will be next year

4.Austin Rivers—if he comes out that would be cool for him to play for his dad

5.Tony Wroten—I love watching him play, but not sure how he would fit.  With his talent they can make it work.

the only guy that the Heat have a chance at getting on your list is Plumlee.

I trutfully cant figure out the Pistons as legitamately any player projected inside the top 10 could go to the pistons so its a tough call.

They could get John Jenkins but i see absolutely no reason why they would draft another swingman. They already have James Wade Battier Miller and Jones. I dont think Kevin Jones will fall down that far personally this mock has him at 29th pick but if he gets all american like he probably will he will definately rise up the draft board.

This year: Hopefully Utah’s pick. I’d say package this pick with some combination of Beasley, D-Will, Randolph, Johnson, or a future first rounder to try and trade up to draft Jeremy Lamb or Brad Beal. The 2nd rounder is like 57th, so it doesn’t matter who they take, it’s unlikely they make a roster.

Next Year: I’d say either get a good backup for Kevin Love, or get a perimeter defender. It’s way too early to tell who’d fit either of these molds, and I think the Wolves will be a playoff team next year (bold prediction), so I can’t really make that call as to who I’d take.

are currently at 9, 32 and 39. I think their first pick will be between 6 and 12 so there are options.

    Picks  9/Lamb,  32/Quincy Miller, and 39Alex Oriaki

6-12  Lamb, Rivers or Beal, Cavs have a big hole at the 2 and 5. Hoping for top 4 pick because that would bring in a sure fire talented starter. Kyrie, Thompson and the small forward combo of Gee and Casspi are good enough. And before you knock Gee and Casspi they make 2.2 million combined. If we get lotto lucky then Barnes or MKG and throw everything I said about Gee and Casspi out the window. Cavs need a c, sg, or sf. Meyers would be nice but I think when he’s measured, every GM is going to love him, he’s like a foot taller than Sullinger. If we go on a run and somehow get on the cusp of the playoffs, I would take Terrance Jones. He has legit size and will measure well at workouts. He is not shooting well now but he is a shooter so that will project okay in the future. Granger was no 3 point asassin in college.

I have a feeling the Lakers will come calling for Sessions and we can pick up a late first rounder. If we get a 3 with the first pick then take Buford, Melo, Ross or Waiters whoever is left. I think Wroten and Terrance Jones will go higher than expected. Jones may be like a inch or two shorter Lamar Odom in 3 years.

I think the Jazz are capable of squeaking in at #8, but if they don’t then my entire post is moot. Lol…knowing Kahn, I’m sure he would draft Kendall Marshall. I’m just trying to play GM, who know’s what’s going on in Kahn’s brain, if he has one. He IS looking to trade for Gasol after all…ugh

Right now we have the 16th pick, but I expect that to move up once Z-BO comes back. I would say our biggest needs is someone to replace Mayo, a pure shooter, and maybe frontcourt depth depending on if we resign Arthur. My top 5 on who I would like them to pick are

    1. Will Barton- He would be a very nice Mayo replacement imo. He is not the best shooter in the world, but he can make it from 3. He is also a very good scorer, and has very good height and athleticism for a SG. I like him much more as a SG prospect than Doron Lamb, Ross, or Waiters. He also knows and has played with most of the Grizzlies players, so there wont be too much of an adjustment.

    2. Tyler Zeller- He would give us great depth in the frontcourt and would be able to backup both Marc and Z-Bo.

    3. Terrence Ross- He is a good shooter with some solid upside. I think he would fit in well with this Grizzlies team.

    4. Tony Wroten- I’m not sure how well he fits in with the team, but I love his upside and potential.

    5. Doron Lamb- He fills a need and fits in nicely with this Grizzlies team. He would be able to provide nice 3pt shooting. My concern with him is I don’t think he provides much upside. I don’t see him being anymore than a solid role player throughout his career.

I can see the Grizzlies get him in the 20’s…good call…

I’m a Sixers fan and I’d like to trade up for Perry Jones III or Anthony Davis,..We have some pieces to move like Lou Williams, Spencer Hawes, Jodie Meeks, Craig Brackins and Andre Iguadola if need be…If we cant move up to get one of the Upside PF’s then I’d like to trade out of the draft all together and get some some cap relief at the same time, maybe trade Lou Williams(6 Million) and our 2012 Draft pick for a future 1st or cheap young player like Jerryd Bayless…

    1. Perry Jones III – I think he’s going to be a really really really good pro lol.
2.Harrison Barnes – I don’t see a risk in drafting him he’s going to be a solid pro I love the Deng comparison
3.Andre Drummond – We have alot of bigs but I can see him and Jonas playing good together. Gotta trade barg

What dont the Bucks need? A go to scorer at the 2 or 3 would be ideal but theres honestly room for upgrade 1-5. Bogut can be a top 5 center when healthy but cant seem to ever be. Its been fun to watch Jennings at times but hes not efficient or big enough be a championship pg.

Delfino, Ilyasova, Sanders, Leuer, Livingston, Dunleavy are all role players and nobody’s not being drafted because of them. Jackson is a head case and needs to be shipped out of town to anyone whos willing to take him. Gooden is a cancer. Theres a reason hes already on his 9th team and I watched him before Wednesdays game vs NO and ten minutes before tip he spent almost two minutes shooting 20 foot left handed jumpers and I seen him make one!! Hes obviously never gonna use that shot and not only that he starts challenging Tobias Harris and he took some lefty jumpers.. Gooden needs to be dealt the sooner the better before he starts rubbing off onto any other prospects they get.

    1 Davis

    2 Barnes

    3 Drummond

    4 Lamb

    5 Sullinger

    6 T Robinson

    7 Beal

IMO the only players I’d keep in milwuakee are Jennings, Bogut, Harris and Mbah Moute…everyone else can go…they need to tank the rest of the season and get as close to the top 5 as possible…But to be honest, I don’t see Jennings staying long term unless they sign him to a near max deal(which he has not earned yet)…The Bucks need to trade for Derrick Williams or Micheal Beasley somehow…I don’t think a Jackson for Beasley deal works  for Minnesota unless the Bucks add a Sanders or Harris…I think Jackson and Harris can fetch Micheal Beasley…

A duo of Jennings and Beasley with a healthy Bogut could be interesting, they can then look at drafting Jeremy Lamb or Bradley Beal to play Starting Sg…I’d play Beasley at the Pf spot and let Mbah Moute and Delfino play Sf…If the Bucks draft a Sf like Barnes they could just try to find the Sg in Free Agency(Mayo and Nick Young may be good affordable options)…I agree that Drew Gooden has to go…I believe the Bucks still have their Amnesty Clause to use this July…If they use the A.C on Gooden and use the cap space to sign Mayo and extend Beasley, they could be on their way…They’d have to luck out in the draft and get a good Sf like Barnes, Jones III or Terrence Jones but I could see them get it together, if not they’ll lose Jennings and be at square one…

Celtics have the 17th, 25th and 47th at this point.

I’d want them to take Quincy Miller at 17th if he’s available because he has more upside than Green and is a legit 3, if he doesn’t declare or isn’t available I’d go with Fab Melo to shore up our C stocks. Barton would be a great fit with Rondo in the back-court as both are very long, athletic and aggressive defensively, plus both rebound well. Barton has plenty of upside and if they re-sign Ray for the minimum then everybody wins.

With the 47th I’d probably take a flyer on Darius Miller, veteran player who could come in and help to replace that toughness off the bench we lost when Tony Allen left.

The Kings are currently drafting at 7 and 37 but with the seventh pick I think the Kings could realistically end up anywhere between the first and ninth pick depending on their play and the draft lotto.

What the Kings need most is someone who can distribute the ball from the point without being a defensive liability, after that they could use another post presence and a quality SF if they continue to refuse to move Tyreke to his perfect position, the three. I have compiled this list based on a wide range of draft positions (1-9).

    1.      Anthony Davis
    2.      Andre Drummond
    3.      Harrison Barnes

All of these picks would lend to the “if the Kings finally get a good pick” scenario. Both Davis and Drummond would bring in the post presence that would elevate the kings to the next level, with Cousins and either one of these two down low the Kings would be scary in the post on both sides of the floor. Barnes would give the Kings promise at their weakest position, SF, and could provide another consistent outlet for those drive and dish opportunities that Tyreke and others on the team create. This paired with an improved defense at the three would help stop some of the penetration that plagues the Kings team defense.

    4.      MKG

If the Kings end up somewhere between 5-8 MKG could be the answer to their prayers. He would bring work ethic and defense to a team that needs everything he has to give. With a little improvement on his mid to long-range game, he could help space the floor better for a team that tends to clog the lane a bit when their shots are not falling.

    5.      Kendall Marshall
    6.      Meyers Leonard

If the Kings end up between 8-10 these two players could be the best fit for the team. Kendall would be on a team who could end up being the best fit for him in the entire league, tons of scorers with no one to set them up for success. His lack of scoring might even be commended, and when the Kings are trying to groom Jimmer at the point, Marshall’s D might not look to shabby. Meyers is that player that I just have a feeling about how nice he could pair down low with Cousins. He would allow Cousins to feel he has more freedom on both ends of the floor because of how well Leonard’s D, quickness, and passing would make up for what Cousins has to do without right now.

I’m glad you put Barnes ahead of Davis for the Kings, if Reke had a better jumper I’d go with MKG, but they desperately need a threat from the perimeter and Barnes has some of the leadership qualities that MKG possesses, which also being a great defender (though not as good as Gilchrist).

I should add for my Boston one that if Terrence Ross were still available at 17 I’d take him over Miller, simply because we already have Green and Pierce, and Ross would excel as a sharpshooter alongside Rondo to be groomed under Allen’s guidance (assuming he returns). If I could get Ross, Miller would likely be off the board by 25th, so I’d grab Tyler Zeller (unlikely but possible), Melo (unlikely but possible).

In the 2nd, if I got Zeller and Ross I’d go for Josh Smith (if he declares) because Rivers was able to get some production out of Big Baby who is a similar sort of player, or Renardo Sidney (for similar reasons). Failing that, I’d take Sacre, simply because he’s a big experienced body and should benefit from playing with Rondo.
