    The team that was just one spot below the Pistons — the Cavaliers — is the team that jumps them to win the lottery.

    Now, since the Pistons pick was Top 8 Protected, the #9 pick belongs to Charlotte.

      I read the site everyday and post occasionally. I’m not gloating. I’m not discussing the Cavs. Just as a Draft lover, I thought this was one of the interesting aspects of the lottery.

    It’s between Levine and Young. I want to say Levine due to his Jordan like athleticism and no need of him immediately since Gerald Henderson can man the 2.

    Yes i just logged on to find the pistons draft pick missing. This is awful news, we have cancers in Jennings and Smith. We are are prob going to lose Monroe and have now lost our draft pick.

     Yeah. Sorry Pistons fans. At least Joe D doesn’t get to make the sorry deals that cost the Pistons a lottery pick anymore. I mean let’s be real trading Ben Gordon and a protected first round pick for Corey Magette was a bad choice as soon as it was made.

     It will matter what they decide to do with Monroe…  I think Saric is an interesting option for them.  Line-up of Jennings/KCP/Saric/Smith/Drummond would be interesting core, but it almost has to be a perimeter player with outside shooting right??  They also need to decide if KCP is the future at the 2 or three.  I think this pick is pretty open with Harris, Stauskas, Lavine, Smart, or Hood would be interesting.  Could surprise and pick McDermott.  He could be the Ryan Anderson to Drummond’s Howard… 

     

    They need to find away to get something for Monroe or Smith first.

    In a side gloat, My 76ers got the 3rd and 10th pick in a deep draft…Soak that in for a minute haters

      This was Dumars thoughts as to save his own a$$ he did this for a salary dump, then got Smith and Jennings from free agency then assumed the pistons would make the playoff last season, meaning they would of only lost a mid round first rounder…
