     Apparently the pistons are interested in signing minnesota t wolves forward michael Beasley. Personally I wouldnt mind Beasley over tayshaun prince

    Yeah I read about this earlier. I wouldn’t mind signing him to the MLE, pretty much an instant upgrade over Prince and I respect Joe D’s thinking in that he has every position locked up with youth and talent except the 3 so he’s loading the roster with small forwards to see who will make the cut. Honestly though I have mixed feelings about Tayshaun, while I want him to leave, he’s spent his entire career here as a Piston so he deserves more than to be cast aside like a soiled cloth…

       tay needs to leave and be traded….. daye needs to go to….. charlie v needs to go as welll

      as for beasley…. idk how he fits with the pistons…. it would be different

        Matt dery who covers the pistons on the radio for 97.1. Has come out and said they he has conformation from joe dumars that they are not looking at beasley. they  have told him that there roster spots are pretty much full. They expect both 2nd round picks to be on the team this year along with singler

    3-5 mil a yr makes him a good pick up which fits in w/ the youth movement going on in Detroit (Monroe, Drummond, Knight). If they pay him 6-8 mil a yr then he could be taking away flexibility in re sighning said youth movement.

     I love the moves  he has made thus far. Beasely for that price would be a steal. Plus it fits into their rebuilding mode.

      Agreed. Beasley for the right price would be a nice pick up. He’s still so young so if he fully utilizes his abilities he could have a stellar career.

     it would be cool if the stones got him but keith langolis of pistons.com reports that

    "Seeing rumors of Pistons and Beasley. Since they have no roster spots and 5 already who can play SF, I would be extremely skeptical"
