Celtics3178ParticipantThe pistons are shopping Drummond and believe they will get a deal done by the trade deadline according to mannix. He said The raptors and pistons talked a JV and Drummond swap. Other players would have to be involved for contract reasons but i think JV can still play and would really benefit from a new situation. Drummond would be a really good pick up for Toronto. he would fit perfect next to Ibaka. Lowry and Demar would benefit from his picking ability. I know the leagues going in a different direction but Drummond can put up 20 and 20 on any given night. I think it would actually work for both teams.

SpartanGloryParticipantI would hope that SVG can get more than JV for Drummond. Hopefully some picks thrown in too or they just keep him. Drummond is still decently young and could improve. If the pistons plan on trading Drummond they need to tear the whole thing down and tank for pics because they aren’t going to be any better with JV.

high floorParticipantThe days of Ibaka being an top stretch 4 in the NBA are over. Ibaka is an ideal 5 in today’s game and needs to be played there for Toronto to maximize their full potential
I’ve been driving the JV to Brooklyn bus for a while now…. just not sure how that happens considering they just did a deal together involving Demarre Carrol & Valanciunas wasn’t included. Plus I’m struggling to see what the Nets would give up in return from their current roster…. but it’s still fun to think about JV getting proper usage in Kenny Atkinson’s offensive attack.

Miko4rm206ParticipantIbaka provides a lot of what Drummond provides on the defensive end. If they were to swap centers why not get a more offensive center for Jonas. Maybe a Brooke Lopez or jahlil okafor. Drummond is more physical around the rim but other than that a Drummond for valencinas doesn’t make much sense.
Avery Bradley is in the D. Might as well package Terry rozier, Jae crowder and a 1st Rd pick for drummond

Evan_MilbergParticipantRight before the draft, the Spurs were trying to unload Aldridge and Green. What about a deal that sends Drummond and Jackson to San Antonio for Aldridge, Green and cash considerations? San Antonio gets a defensive anchor and long-term replacements for Gasol and Parker. Detroit gets a go-to scorer in Aldridge and another shooter in Green. They could move Bradley to point and play Kennard or Green at SG.

cohenbc1ParticipantI can’t imagine two less Spur-like players than Drummond and Jackson.

OhCanada-ParticipantToronto wouldnt agree to a Drummond JV swap. They have been trying to trade JV and allow Siakam and Poeltl to get more frontcourt minutes who are both capable and better fits with the current roster. They just signed Kennedy Meeks as well and drafted OG Anunoby who should be playing alot of smallball PF for them. Ibaka will play PF for them this year but the current roster doesnt reflect that.
