Who would you guys pick between these prospects for long term NBA potential and why?

Okafor vs Towns – I’m going with Towns on this one primarily due to his abilities on the defensive end. It’s really close though because of Okafor’s amazing offensive skills.

Stanley Johnson vs Winslow – I got Johnson. I have seen him as a top 3 pick for over a year now and I really think his game will translate in every area to the next level, where Winslow may struggle some with his shooting/scoring.

Myles Turner vs McCullough – As much as McCullough has surprised me so far this year, Turner’s potential is through the roof. Just needs to bulk up a little and continue expanding his game on both ends like he has already shown so far and he can be a star.

Montrezl Harrell vs Cliff Alexander – Harrell. This guy has improved so much over the last couple years. He is a dominant force on the boards and he can dunk anything close to the rim. He plays a lot like Faried and that intensity will make him at least a good player. Im still not quite sold on Alexander just yet, but he does have the tools to be just as good a player as Harrell.

D’Angelo Russell vs Mykhailiuk – I love Svi as a long term prospect but Russell has shown so much so far. He has shown the ability to create for himself and for others. He has been a go to scorer and a clutch performer. He has an animal instinct with the ball in his hands and I love that.

Who ya got? And who are some other prospects to compare?

Okafor – The guy is such a good low post scorer and you can tell he will have an impact in the NBA on a high level. Towns could be better, but with the doubt there I can’t say I’d take him.

Johnson – Kid will be very good, he is such a hard worker and his shot already looks better. Defensively he will be a beast I liken him to Leonard and Butler.

Turner – No doubt about this one, Turner could before the season is out start being in the discussion with Okafor and Towns. I think he is pretty much there with Towns now, Okafor is next tier up at the moment.

Harrell – Has shown improvement and still has room to grow, just haven’t seen enough of Alexander yet.

Russell – I WANT HIM IN INDIANA, he reminds me of Conley to as a point and I think given time could be on that level. He just seems to be able to do everything well and be a better scoring version of Conley.

Justise Winslow reminds me a ton of Jimmy Butler. He’ll come in as a defensive stopper and have a few solid seasons before really putting it all together a la Butler.

Stanley Johnson has the potential to be incredibly good…I think he’s the better prospect but I love both kids as players.

    Here’s one: how about

    Terry Rozier vs. Isaiah Taylor

Would just like to point out how young svi is and how he already is showing the confidence (and ability) to be a strong contributor to a stacked kansas team. The guy is super legit, and if he could just add a bit of bulk and a bit of athleticism…then watch the heck out.

     1.  Okafor.  There are just few players like him in the league.  He is a rare commodity as a true center and would be a good long term investment.

    2.  This one is tough.  I will have to give the edge to Winslow due to being a step above athletically.  Both are primed to be very valuable assets to whichever team they end up at.

    3.  Turner.  He just has much higher upside.

    4.  Harrell.  I don’t think either player will contribute as much as we think in the league, but I think Harrell will slightly edge him out.

    5.  This is another tough one.  Russell is clearly the better player now, but Svi’s potential is jaw dropping.  I think I would take my chance on Svi.

     1. Towns: Ge can pretty much do everything on the court. Athletic, solid jump shot, good ball handling for a big, defensive upside, solid post moves that he’ll improve with time.

    2. Johnson: Kid is a beast. If he can improve his jump shot he has the potential to be a dangerous offensive player in the nba. Even if he doesn’t he’s so strong going to the hoop that he’ll still find success scoring.

    3. Turner: he’s one of my fav players in the draft. Sort of reminds me of Lamarcus Aldridge/bosh. I agree with whoever said he’ll be in discussion for the top pick.

    4. Harrell: The mid-range game he added combined with his size and rebounding ability make me believe he’ll have a long nba career. He’s physical enough to be effective down low right away. Alexander reminds me of Thomas Robinson too much and doesn’t even seem as explosive as Robinson. Alexander needs to add a jumper if he’s going to be a solid contributed at the next level.

    5. Russell: However, I don’t know a ton about Svi. Russell just looks really smooth. Not sure if he’s a star at the next level, but definitely will be a nice combo guard for whichever team takes him
