cavairo7ParticipantPhoenix trades Jason Richardson and Earl Clark to Cleveland for Antawn Jamison and Christian Eyenga. Now as great as JRich has been playing this year, it is a contract year for him, so his numbers should be taken with a grain of salt. And while Jamison is having an off year for the Cavs, they are rebuilding and looking to play their youngsters. Ultimately though, Jamison fills a need for the Suns at the four spot and would be perfect in the Suns system. Cleveland would to this trade just to get some cap space for this summer. But if Cleveland plans to be competitive, they can go out to try and get Iguodala, pairing him with Richardson and hoping that they both can lead the Cavs back to the playoffs. Clark and Eyenga go to new teams in which they are a better fit for.

torontoraptors10ParticipantThat is an alright trade, but the issue I have with it is that, Hakim Warrick is playing well and is finally getting some playing time and his previous tenures with other teams haven’t been that great. It’s good he is getting confidence in his game and Richardson wants to play with the Suns and I see him signing a smaller deal once his contract is over.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantWhy should the Suns add another over 30 player?
I think the Suns should look into trading Nash..And try to get some draft picks and a young starter with potential…Becuz right now they’re a franchise thats not going anywhere..They’re not good enuff to be considered a real playoff contender and they’re not bad enuff to get a top 3 pick….

NYK2010ParticipantWhy would the Suns give up an expiring player for Jamison he isn’t the same player he was a few yrs ago.
They already have Frye, Warrick at PF both which are younger.
Time for the Suns to get younger they might make the playoffs but they’ll lose in the 1st round.
I can see trading JRich but for something of value not to give up your cap room for next for a 34 yr soft forward.

651TwolvesParticipantbut no. even tho jamison is a good fit in the suns system, he doesnt have enough in the tank for him and nash to give a final push for a championship run. and earl clark has too much potential to give up in this trade.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantClark is a BUST!!
If you’re a around player with the skills he has and you cant be in the rotation of a team that free flowing run & gun..He doesnt belong in the league….

TyroberParticipantJRich is a good NBA player. He can help a lot of teams including the Suns. Why on earth would the Suns just give away their best tradable asset for another expiring contract. Jamison isnt going to help the Suns while JRich is a very big part of what they do. Horrible idea

Meditated StatesParticipantI would not want him anyways. He is going to be out of the league after that contract if he don’t show something this year. I was never high on his game.
