This team is developing well. They have made alot of steps since the beggining of the year and the young players are starting to play well out there instead of looking for highlights and cheating assignments. I wasnt to imoressed earlier in the season but Im starting to see thier bigger picture.

Earl Watson is a very good coach. Seems like a players coach and the guys seem to respond to his likeabillity and practicle experience. They have a good blend of veterans that seem to cherish the leadership roles and young players that are attentive and learning fast. They played well against Utah tonight. Bender is showing why he was selected so high as a guy that will eventually be able to gaurd wings to Centers and effect the game is so many ways.

I really hope they land Josh Jackson. They have shooters all over the floor if Bender can bulk up and give you minutes at the C position which seems to be the plan. His versatility and athletisism would fit in great at SF. Booker is a cold blooded killer that will close out close games and they have tons of guys that can matchup on multiple positions in the future defensively. They are built for today and tommorows NBA.

I hadn’t watched them all year but didn’t expect much looking at box scores and results. I saw the game in Mexico vs San Antonio and with an eye on long term success rather the actual result of that game, I have to say I thought the young guys played well and gave some hope to fans .. particularly the unit of Ulis, Booker, Bender and  Len (and PJ Tucker was on the floor with them). I think the players are a bit of a mish mash of styles with no team identity at the moment, but that young group really rolled well together and stood out for a period to me. They have good pieces but they aren’t getting the most production in the win column for the talent they have. Knight is being wasted. Chandler should go to a contender.  The just need to package a few of these guys for a youngish star and them give them time… Blake Griffin?

Booker is quickly becoming what the Lakers had hoped Russel would be.  looking like a future all-star to me.

As a Sunsa fan, there seems to be some nice personal development of players but results aren’t being achieved. We have a large number of younger players and finding the right mix is the key. Booker does look a legit star in the making and Eric Bledsoe is playing nicely at PG and with this year’s draft class being PG heavy it will be interesting to see what Phoenix do, Shifting Brandon Knight could be hard too. Bledsoe is on a decent salary for his skillset so might get takers if Phoenix wanted to draft Fultz/Ball etc.

Josh Jackson as SF would seem a natural fit for Phoenix.

They have to decide whether to match any offers for Alex Len who is a skilled, young mobile big will probably attract an offer sheet from a few teams.

Chriss is looking useful as starting PF and Bender is still a work in progress.

Ther could be offers for Tyson Chandler from a contender as his salary is reasonable, he’s still a good defensive anchor and a good locker room presence so it might be mutually beneficial if he was moved on. Tyson is a good mentor for Len, Chriss and Bender but I feel he deserves to be on a contender. He has a title so if he is happy in Phoenic then great.
