 I like the Thomas signing…  especially for how much they payed him.  The Suns getting him though??  Now they have just TOO many guards.  Bledsoe, Thomas, Dragic, Archie Goodwin, and Tyler Ennis.  How is Ennis and Goodwin supposed to get any time this year??

I’m intrigued as to what the Kings are going to do with the trade exception they got from the deal. Sucks Thomas had to go but after the Collison signing there would have been a glut with McCallum(going to be breaking out in my opinion) Thomas and Collison. Take care of him Suns….

 I think Phoenix is just looking for good value. They have sign and trade possibilities, I’m pretty sure they don’t have these 5 guards going into regular season. They actually have depth at every possession on reasonable contracts so possibly in play to make a trade.

PG- Dragic,Bledsoe ( RFA but have cap room to match)I Thomas, Ennis, Goodwin

SG- Gerald Green although they usually play 2nd point guard for small ball

SF- Marcus Morris, 1 st round pick Tj Warren

PF- Markeef Morris

C- Miles Plumlee, Alex Len 

Obviously they have loads of tradeable assets, future draft picks and cap room to make a big play. Interesting to see what happens.

I just thought of this as a rough trade, other pieces would probably need to be involved. The Pacers are looking to trade hibbert. So Miles plumlee and dragic, bledsoe or thomas (I think it might have to be a year till he can be traded, but I don’t know) for Hibbert. Pacers get good starting point guard and the Suns get their big man.

Ennis and Goodwin aren’t going to be playing.

Goodwin has upside, but he’s just so far away from being a good NBA player.

Ennis has the disease of being decent at everything, but doesn’t have one elite skill at all. The NBA has too many reallllly good PGs for a guy like that to be a factor.
