     Does he bolt?

    9.1ppg 3.3rbg 5.5apg .403 FG% .227 3P% 730 FT%

If you ask me, I would tell you his stats underrate him as a player, but I am here to tell you Siva is the PACKAGE. Peyton possesses GREAT speed, quickness, ball handling, passing, and SUPERB athleticism for his stature to be listed at 6’0" 180. I can see him coming in at the combine measuring 5’10" 190lbs. because he his no slouch in the physique department. I also am here to say he will test with the best vert, out of every prospect who will be at the combine.

Does he bolt? He might if they win it all.

Should he? No.  It would be dumb of him to do so. He struggles finishing at the rim and doesn’t shoot it well enough to compensate.  One of these must improve to make the most of his potential.

I think he goes back just to be safe.

Like you said he does have extreme speed and quickness, but sometimes he underachieves, but right now he is the PG that has Louisville in the Final 4 and that always looks good on your resume and will def boost your stock.

His size is a concern you say he will measure in at 5’10 190? Nah I’d say 5’11 170-175, if he was 190 he’d be looking like Eric Bledsoe jr out there lol

He’d be better off staying considering he’s an undersized, turnover prone point guard, that can’t shoot that well. He’s a hell of an athlete though with good leadership abilties, there’s no denying that, but he should return for his senior year and improve on some of his decision making and shooting abilities.

He dribbles into three guys at least ten times every game, he falls down almost every time he goes to the rim, and he can’t shoot to save his life. Athleticism only takes you so far, and teams would be absolutely foolish to touch him in the draft. That sounds harsh but living in Kentucky, I’ve seen a lot of Louisville games. He should absolutely come back whether they win it all or not.

He reminds me of Jose Barea the way he gets inside the paint so easy. If he adds some strength and get a consistent jumpshot he will have a career in the NBA.

The best time to go is when your stock is high we’ll see what transpires in the Final Four but Siva is in the Final Four- I don’t think many people outside of Louisville supporters had them in the Final Four this season.

Siva is a tough as nails kid with a high baskeball iq who is a gym rat and will improve on all aspects of his game as he matures.

I can see more than a few teams potentially drafting Siva in the 1st round if he declares.

I love the fact you think OUTSIDE the box and are not narrow minded to sit there and say he doesn’t have what it takes. You hit the nail on the coffin! He IS a gym rat and many of the people who replied on this forum topic are narrow minded to have a one tract mind, to look for all the negatives in his game as would a photographer do for photographs. These folks need some MEDIUMS!

BTW Peyton Siva = Nate Robinson to me. You all LOVE Nate strictly off Athleticism HARD WORK and DEDICATION to not give up and quit on himself an his team. Siva is Nate Robinson all over again.

Run tell Aran to disagree with this comparison!

I’m going to not listen to your player comparisons, considering that I stumbled upon a thread in which you called Jereme Richmond Rudy Gay 2.0.

I would like to know how Siva is comparable to Barea, when Barea does not even posses the same athletic capabilities as Peyton. Please tell me I bumped my head on the Nate Robinson comparison. BTW are you from Tidewater VA, because I am "from" Chesapeake and reside there still.

I never said Siva was comparable to Barea, that was someone else. And yes, I’m from Tidewater, Newport News to be exact.

Just because Barea Robinson (or Kemba) and Siva are all short PG’s doesn’t mean Siva is bound to be just as good as Barea and Robinson. To be clear. Siva:

    1) Can’t shoot from range, mid-range, or at the rim effectively. Whereas Barea and Robinson can do all of these things (or atleast thinks they can all the time).

    2) Doesn’t have a particular physical aspect of his game that stands him apart. Robinson is ridiculously explosive (dunk contest? please), Barea is incredibly tough for his size and awesome body control when he elevates, Kemba has absolutely insane quickness.

    3) Barea Robinson are efficient PG’s, which when playing the PG position is important. Siva has yet to show he is an efficient in any way….

So… Why would you draft him…

If you all say no to Nate and I say no to Barea, how about… Sebastian Telfair with more athleticism and being more turnover prone.

I see 757 is on the board! Hampton, VA here…I’ll just ignore the question about Siva though because he’s obviously not NBA ready right now… LMAO @ these comparisons

He will struggle to score in the NBA, but he does compete and has good athleticism. I see him as having a Tyronne Lue type career, at best.
