festar35ParticipantThe Indiana Pacers have lost another game and it seems to be down to the offensive struggles of Hibbert, Collison and especially Granger. I can’t help but feel someone else ccould be benefitting from the shots that Granger is just tossing up. I can honestly say i have absolutly no idea what is wrong with Collison, maybe he just isn’t as good as the Hornets system made us believe.
In my opinion i would like to see more oppurtunities for Paul George and Tyler Hansbrough from now on. The play-offs would be awesome for the Pacers to get to but I think in the long run they would be better off developing George, Hansbrough and Hibbert as i don’t see Granger be on a title contender in Indiana.
Where do you think the Pacers should go at the end of the season? (whether they make the play-offs or not)

SwatLakeCityParticipantI really think this should be the Pacers Starting Lineup: Collison, George, Granger, Hansbrough, Hibbert. I think George is better than both Rush, and Dunleavy and the Pacers really ought to develop him. He should start IMO. Hansbrough I’m not quite so sure about. Him and McRoberts are kind of on the same level and either one could start. I also don’t really know where to go with their draft pick. I have it down to four choices: Kemba Walker, Brandon Knight, Jimmer Freddette, or Marcus Morris. Who do you guys think Indiana should pick with the 15 or late lottery pick?

festar35ParticipantI think the Pacers need to move Rush, i think he will not make any improvements staying in Indy. He could be a knock-down shooter a solid defensive player for a play-off team.

flyboyParticipantNeeds another impact player offensively. That’s their biggest weakness currently, they don’t actually have a #1 player offensively, but at least a co-#1 with Granger is a requirement. They also could use a Faried type player, an athletic, long big who can rebound, block some shots, and bring a high energy level. They need to determine if George and Granger can play with each other, or move one of them, and figure out what they are going to do at the SG position. As for Collison, he’s having around the type of season I expected him to. He’s still developing, and he’ll continue to grow as a starter, but if you are expecting the next CP3, you will be disappointed. Indiana will keep getting better with more experience, but they aren’t anything more than a 8th seed at best currently.

nateoak10ParticipantPaul George is going to be a really really good player. I mean like all star good. Great defender and a offensive game that will be deadly in time.

JoeWolf1Hansbrough has been on a tear, he’s averaging 17 and 7 in only 27 mpg in his last 5 games. He’s also raised his terrible shooting percentage to .465 in this stretch. If he can stay healthy I think he’ll end up being a very good NBA player.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI haven’t been too happy with Granger’s shot selection all season to be honest (I haven’t been happy with his shot selection for like the past two or three seasons)… The plan was to play inside out, but Hibbert has been inconsistent as well. The Pacers lack a real number one option.
Collison has been OK, but hasn’t had the impact I thought he’d have. He’s good, but isn’t the player he was hyped up to be while in New Orleans.
The Pacers are still the sitting in the 8th seed right now. Regardless of the recent struggles, I’d rather see this team make the playoffs instead of having another low lottery pick again.
