IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m excited for this series. This takes me back to the 90’s.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m already sick of Sam Young

BasketballJunkie224Participantlance stephenson already has 10 rebounds half way thru the 3rd, pretty impressive and unexpected from him

IndianaBasketballParticipantPacers look like they’re going to be too much for the Knicks.
Pacers are just too good defensively and on the boards. And Hibbert and West too much down low.

IndianaBasketballParticipantLance Stephenson has been the MVP of this game so far.
DJ Augustine having his best game as a pro

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantFar from it, DJ augustin had several big games when he played for Charlotte. I remember him going for 30 a couple times as well as having some 10 assist games. Probably his best game for Indiana though.

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe’s probably had better statistical games, but 5-5 FG and 4-4 3PT in a playoff game on the road?
Huge game regardless for him

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantPacers playing team basketball. 6 players in double figures.

IndianaBasketballParticipantMelo has 25 points on 10-26 shooting. Not all of those misses were fouls. He’s just flat out having an inefficient game. I’m happy the refs haven’t bailed him out.
Give PG24 his credit. Give Hibbert his credit for protecting the paint.

BigChamp12ParticipantThese refs are sickening!! Melo is getting hammered!
0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/05/2013 - 12:25pm #769054
IndianaBasketballParticipantInstead of blaming the refs, I think Paul George needs to be given credit. Even David West deserves credit because he actually defended Melo pretty well when he was asked to.
Great game by the Pacers. Locked em up. Killed em on the glass. Ran through our bigs.

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantI disagree with not fouling even after the pacers got the rebound on the free throw. It was a 7 point game with like 18 or so seconds left. Anything can happen.

machu46ParticipantMelo tries too hard to draw fouls.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/05/2013 - 12:29pm #769048
BigChamp12ParticipantI didnt say they all were fouls. He’s been shooting terrible for 4 like 4 straight games now, but that doesnt take the fact away that he’s been hammered several times tonight and there were no calls.
The refs have just been terrible with the missed calls and the excessive offensive fouls0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/05/2013 - 12:34pm #769053
BigChamp12ParticipantNY cant win if Melo and JR dont make shots. Its that simple. Tyson Chandler has to do a better job of guarding Hibbert. He scored easy all night. He was outplayed by a longshot in the paint, both offensively and defensively.

FastAndFuriousParticipantMelo and JR Smith can literally shoot a team out of a game, JR Smith had like 3 drives in a row where he went straight at Hibbert and Hibbert easily blocked him each time, Indiana really played well, Lance Stephenson is starting to put his talent together and Augustin is a very very solid back up, far from his best game as a pro, but a big game for him far as the playoffs go.
