At the game and it looks like the Pacers are about to wrap this up.

It was a close game in the first half, but the Pacers opened it up in the 3rd. The Heat got somewhat close early in the 4th, but it’s looking like the Pacers are about to push the lead back out.

I’ll post my thoughts in a minute.

The Pacers had a packed arena and came out with energy, but I’m a little disappointed. The Heat didn’t come to play. They were damn near just going through the motions. Not hustling, rotating, defending hard… I should’ve sold my tickets. They looked tired, which is understandable considering they just played last night. LeBron looked stiff, like his knees hurt.

But the Pacers really played well, especially in the third quarter. Killed the Heat on the boards and really locked up on the Heat in the half-court, who pretty much were just clearing out/isolating the whole game. Heat’s offense was stagnant. Basically they took turns letting LeBron and Wade isolate, while everyone else just stood around. Heat looked out of sync at both ends.

The Heat have a real problem in the paint. They’re small. Joel Anthony is smaller than LeBron and Turiaf isn’t close to being in shape.

Collison finally came to play tonight and I thought everyone was solid for the most part. Barbosa was a beast off of the bench. He just knows how to score. George was solid at both ends and did a good job defending both Wade and LeBron.

Overall, great game for the Pacers, but the Heat didn’t come to play tonight. Coach Spoelstra looked depressed.
