festar35ParticipantI keep hearing how they will go with a SG at 15 and I am fine with that but i honestly don’t see any of the prospects being as good as Paul George. So do you think they take SG and plan to move Granger in the next year or two with George going to SF?

ProudGrandpaParticipantThey move Rush and Hamilton becomes backup at both wings

R-Dot-13ParticipantI have them taking Singleton, who can be a backup defensive specialist playing 2 positions.
Marshon Brooks, and Jordan Hamilton are other choices.0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/18/2011 - 12:51pm #546780
seniokasParticipantI would love to see them taking Hamilton while he is pure scorer and has good size to play wing but I think that there is a big chance that he will be picked before 14 pick. Also, I think that they have some promising young players at 2/3 and their biggest need would be 4, maybe Markieff Morris would fit, what do you think ?

festar35ParticipantI actually like the idea of Chris Singleton to be a good defensive option at the 4 spot, as Hansbrough is proving he can score the ball. I still really want to see Marshon Brooks in a Pacers uniform and can be an impact player off the bench as a scorer ala Jamal Crawford. The idea of a wing rotation of Granger/George/Jones?Brooks wouldnt be bad but they need to get Rush and/or Posey out of Indiana.
It will also depend on Free Agency as to how they fill the need for another PF, C to back-up Hansbrough and Hibbert.

B-ball fanParticipantIf I were the Pacers, I would definitely take him if he was available. He could fit next to Hibbert well, with his quickness and defensive prowess making up for Hibbert’s lack of quickness on the defensive end. Plus, Singleton excels in transition and has a lot of potential as a player who could excel off the ball. I think Sinleton will be a much better pro than either Hansbrough or McRoberts.

ProudGrandpaParticipantStop dissing their PF’s. they should re-sign McRoberts and keep the two as their duo.

B FreeParticipantUnless they want to move Granger they shouldn’t be picking a player SG/SF, you guys are suggesting they take a backup at their strongest position with the 15th pick when they could find a good a PF who has a shot at starting.

mmmistryParticipantDo you think the Pacers would be willing to Trade Paul George for Andrea Bargnani (add extra pieces for salaries to match)?
Pacers lineup:
PG – Collision, SG – Rush/Dunleavy, SF – Granger, PF – Bargnani, C – Hibbert
Raptors lineup:
PG – Walker (5th pick), SG – Derozan, SF – Georger, PF – Davis, C – A. Johnson/FA
Edit: Pacers then can draft a wing with their their 1st pick. One of Burks/Brooks/Hamiltion should be available.

ProudGrandpaParticipantbargnani is better now, but george is the future centerpiece and has many more dimensions (like defense)

mmmistryParticipantI really think George is better playing the SF position than SG. I don’t see George being successful at SG for the long term. I’m not sure how George and Granger will co-exist unless one of the two are traded.

raybeasParticipantBurks falls to 15 (like happened with Granger). Brooks seems like a reach at 15, but I wouldnt be unhappy with that pick. Hamilton or (either) Morris would be my 3-4 options. Maybe Bismack if either of the wings dont fit right.

PulseGlazerParticipantThey are looking for a strong rebounding 4, according to reports. Markief is my guess, and I can’t blame them, as that type would fit really well starting next to Hibbert and allowing Hans to be offense and cohesion off the bench. I could see Hans threatening for sixth man of the year, eating up backup bigs.
