tblazer_NZParticipantOrlando is going to need shooters as they just traded away their best shooter in Arron Afflalo and drafted poor shooters in Aaron Gordon and Elfrid Payton. Victor Oladipo, Tobias Harris and the other key players can not stretch the floor for them. Who do you see them targeting in FA?

TripleDoubleScoutParticipantyes they need shooters and will probably address that in FA/summer league. What people are really sleeping on with this team is their defense. Absolute shutdown potential.

terrancebowerParticipantI’m not sure who they could sign but I think giving Nicholson and Harkless a bit more time could help stretch the floor, and they should probably bring Jameer Nelson back for his final year, he can shoot plus he can help mentore Payton a bit because there has to be some kind of veteran presence on the roster. So many young studs in Payton, Oladipo, Harkless, Harris, Nicholson, Vucevic, Gordon, O’Qiunn, Fournier. That’s 9 really young guys who can all be really good players in this league (some stars, others very good role players or frinnge starters on good teams) but there needs to be some veterans who can help the young guys develop and get to that point. Maybe they can sign Mike Miller (shooter, veteran, championship experience, good locker room guy) or is he retiring?

Prime TimeParticipantI could see Chandler Parsons going to Orlando. He’d fit well with their current roster.
He’s from the Orlando area and played college ball with the Florida Gators. I could see him returning home.

JoeWolf1Roy Dev Marble is a good shooter, and has a legit shot to make the roster. He’s an end of the bench player in the NBA, but he has the potential to develop into a specialist.
Last year for the Hawkeyes he tallied 7 games with 3 or more 3 point field goals made, including a season high 6 in a 26 point performance against Michigan ( who sported 3 draft picks this year ). He killed it in the spot up shooting during the combine drills, from the NBA line (4-5 from four of the spots behind the NBA line, including both corners ) and at 6’7” he has the size to get his shot off in the NBA.
Not a game changer, but he’s a guy I had my eye on for a while as a potential specialist, and I think he has a legit shot to get some minutes next year for Orlando.
