0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:09pm #349517
IndianaBasketballParticipantThis is CRAZY lol. LeBron’s ego has to be at an untouchable/unreachable type of status. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this.

0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:15pm #349527
adamsc14ParticipantThis is about more then basketball. The resturants in cleveland will lose customers. Some schools in Ohio would not be able to afford choclate milk or text books.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI wonder what Kobe is thinking right now?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:15pm #349532
llperezwas watching nbatv, and chris webber was killin lebron if he goes to miami. He said how jordan and kobe would never play with another mvp caliber wing player. They were both the man and lebron joining wade would be like peyton manning joining tom brady.

0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:18pm #349540
llperez1993 had way less media and internet coverage. While this is nowhere as big a story as jordan retiring, it has more coverage and anticipation just becasue all the media.

DanEboyParticipantI hope LBJ is listening to these guys right now…..come to Chicago Bron…change your mind
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:21pm #349547
wd40rocksParticipantLebron won’t piss on himself, he’ll piss on the entire city of cleveland.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:21pm #349548
IndianaBasketballParticipant@llperez
Yea, you’re definitely right about that.
This doesn’t compare to MJ retiring to me. I was crushed also. I’ll never forget how happy I was when Jordan announced he was coming back! My old man had season tickets and I got to see that up close.
LeBron’s free-agent decision doesn’t come close to those two moments for me.

I can see lots of Cleveland people rooting for the Lakers next year, and the Thunder in the future… Byron Scott must be crying.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:45pm #349605
IndianaBasketballParticipantI think we know a lot about LeBron’s character now… He’s DEFINITELY not MJ or Kobe. DEFINITELY!!!! They’d never go join their competition on the wing.
LeBron is Scottie Pippen.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:47pm #349607

0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:49pm #349612
butidonthavemoneyI don’t throw this term around a lot, but I LOLed at SpencerisHawesome saying he’s always been a Heat fan.
I’m still laughing.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:50pm #349613
joecheck88Participanta little part of me doesnt want to watch this anymore and listen to jon barry preach right now. now 2 of our 3 best players for the next few years take lesser rolls. david stern should put the brakes on this because i think its terrible for the nba. i now will root for kobe and the 2nd most hated team the lakers. part of me doesnt want to watch the heat play or use them in association in next years game. with amare gone to ny and phoenix my favorite team in disarray, i now will root for the chicago bulls and d rose booz and noah. and i hope noah punks lebron every time they play.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:50pm #349614
gregoden08ParticipantIs an idiot…lol @ him for using Taj Gibson as a selling point for him to go to Chicago.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:50pm #349615
McDunkinwell im gonna pull out my d wade jersey from my senior year 4 years ago and say i was always a heat fan too
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:50pm #349616
WrecklessParticipantSo do we welcome Harrison Barnes or Kyrie Irving to Cleveland?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:51pm #349618
IndianaBasketballParticipantLeBron is freak athlete with amazing court vision… But he’s also a coward. I don’t see the competitor in him that I see in the eyes of Kobe or seen in the eyes of Jordan. I hate it too because I wish he had it. He’ll NEVER be the greatest in my eyes.
LeBron joining Wade is bad for the NBA. The NBA needs young franchise talent to lead separate franchises and compete against each other. Magic and Larry NEVER would’ve teamed up! Jordan NEVER would’ve teamed up with Isiah or Drexler… Or Ewing in New York. Man… This is disgusting.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:53pm #349621
DanEboyParticipantJay Z is trying to unload his share of the Nets right now…
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:54pm #349622
JNixonParticipantLebron can no longer go to Cleveland….And if you can’t go home you can’t go nowhere. And that’s the truth
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:58pm #349626
WrecklessParticipantI bet Kobes grinning like a motherfucker right now.
Lakers 3 Peat !0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:58pm #349625
wd40rocksParticipantHow does this change the east?
this is my early prediction1. Heat
2. Magic
3. Hawks
4. Celtics
5. Bulls
6. Bucks
7. Bobcats
8. Pacers/76ers/Pistons/Nets/Knicks(?)I’m pretty sure there will be four or five 35 win teams going for the 8th spot.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:58pm #349627
Mr.Knick 32ParticipantMELO IN 2011!!!!!!
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 3:58pm #349628
IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m happy LeBron did what was best for him… I mean, that’s all you can expect. The man had to make his own decision and he did. This was a tough decision for him and he did what he felt would make him happy.
I’m just disgusted at it and sad that he doesn’t have enough competitor in him to lead his own franchise. It’s so sad for the NBA. LeBron is TOO much of a special talent to be somebody’s Pippen. I have no problem with Bosh teaming up with one of them since he’s no superstar in my eyes, but LeBron joining Wade just doesn’t make sense.
It is what it is though.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 4:00pm #349633

theasianpersuasionParticipantHahahahaha….
People already burning LeBron jerseys in Cleveland… He’s screwed when he goes back home during the summers.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 4:02pm #349638
kaceyParticipantLeBron’s legacy will never reach the level it could have reached had LeBron James signed with any other team.
LeBron James can mention all the other teams LeBron James wants to mention that have had two or three other stars on the team. But no other team has had 3 Supertars on one team. 3 guys that most people would consider are in the top 10 players in the league.
Could LeBron James please keep referring to himself in the third person.
0- Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 8:45pm #349940
mrknowitall313Participanti guess u never heard of the old lakers teams. baylor, west, chamberlain. or magic, kareem, worthy (all hall of famers) the celtics teams. bird, mchale, parish etc. every team have had 2 or 3 superstars and GREAT role players.

Who is the 1st option on that Cleveland team now.0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 4:02pm #349640
marcusfizer21ParticipantLeBron just admitted that he cannot be a hero Cleveland deserves… I really thought he’d save Cleveland from the curse that it’s having in the last half century… Chosen One???? More like Pussy One…
He’s got some balls if he goes back to Cleveland right now… I lost a lot of respect for this guy… I am not rooting for the Heat… Watch Pat Riley take over from Erik Spoelstra in the middle of the season…
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 4:03pm #349642
