1993 had way less media and internet coverage. While this is nowhere as big a story as jordan retiring, it has more coverage and anticipation just becasue all the media.

This doesn't compare to MJ retiring to me. I was crushed also. I'll never forget how happy I was when Jordan announced he was coming back! My old man had season tickets and I got to see that up close.

LeBron's free-agent decision doesn't come close to those two moments for me.
