Rose is on pace for 20-15 but, and I can't believe I'm saying this, Rose is the only one who can break down the Knicks defense.

Seriously. They're playing defense, theres no drop off when you go to the bench, Gallo is playing bananas, and theyre understanding spacing, the extra pass, and switching principles... Is D'Antoni actually the coach people hyped him to be? I don't think they can play close to this good every night, but it shows the serious improvement that has New Yorkers excited.

New York is really this good and also Bulls are missing Boozer. Also hopefully Knicks don't choke. Felton is looking better than I thought but I know right now he is far from the 20 and 10 I mentioned but it is still early because Gallo has finally had a good game and also Amare will Average more than what he is now.

Stoudemire is a turnover machine

It is still early and a lot of new players on that team. Wall has a lot of turnovers right now too but i doubt he continues to turn the ball over at a high rate same as Stoudamire.

I agree completely. Stoudemire is a top-15 player, but I don't like the way he is playing for the Knicks. Taking it 1 on 1 every time and rarely passing. He's going to put up similar stats like he put up in Phoenix, but it will be much less efficient because he doesn't have Nash.

Rose is in absolute takeover mode. Definitely a top 3 point guard right now.

If Rose got Boozer healthy and somehow got Eric Gordan (or similar player), you'd have a true championship contender.

Rose top 3, I'd still take Rondo,Paul, and J-Kidd instead

Delfam, that would make Rose forth. Rondo and Kidd cant do what hes been doing these last few minutes. But he's just as good a passer.

For the record, Rose is not just as good a passer as Rondo or Kidd..

But save that debate for later... This game was looking like a blowout for a moment.

Right now I could see Rose as being number 3 ahead of Rondo because Rose can score. Williams and Paul just have too much experience and similiar production for him to get the edge right now. Felton can run the pick and roll with Amare but give them time to gel. Chemistry takes time but Felton has shown he can play a two man game with Amare.

Woah, i never knew 13 assists was rose's career high. Wall had 13 in just his 3rd game lol.

I feel Derrick Rose is a good, Great guard but I feel Rondo is better now and Wall will be better in 20 months.

I will admit, he eats up average defenses.

Right now, it's: Rondo, Rose, Wall, Jennings, Nelson

The issue with Rose right now for me, he doesn't get to the line alot, he looked a little wierd shooting from 3 and he is not a great defensive guard. He could change it down the road tho.

I think part of the reason he doesn't get to the line a lot is because he's amazing at avoiding the contact.

His three-pointer is still a work in progress, but I see improvement. He's not a great defender, but he's definitely not a poor one. I'd say he's about average. He'll get better there. It just takes some players longer than others.

Rose is very good. I have a higher standard then some when it comes to being great. That takes seasons to accomplish.  But rose can be great eventually. To me great is hall of fame. If his career ened now it's not hall of fame worthy. But again that's just me when Im calling someone great

I base greatness off championships, especially with PG's cause their suppose to be leaders and orchestrate a team, their the glue to the team, what makes them run. That's why Rondo and Fisher are some of my favorite players cause they step up and know what to do to win.

I agree Rose can improve, I just feel what Wall has shown me, he's already at that level where Rose was getting too last season for me. Other then the fact Wall is a walking turnover at this point, I see him becoming better then Rose by next season.

Fisher and Rondo also just happen to be on two amazing teams.

Without Rondo, Boston doesn't win a title in 08 and get to it last year. More then just another guy on that team. He's clearly a top 15 player in the NBA at this point.

So after three or four games, you're willing to say Wall will be better than Derrick Rose by *next* season???

This reminds me of when JNixon-Iggy9 said during Jennings' blazing start that he'd be better than Rose by the end of last season.

It's different with a PG, the PG is the leader and suppose to run the team, the PG is the team, that's why I judge them on championships. Obviously there are exceptions if your on a bad team or are like John Stockton and run into Michael Jordan every year, but this is just my view.

On topic, looks like Thibs gave up on this game to rest Noah and Rose for tomorrow against the Celtics.

I watched everyone of those Wall games, I can say this with certainty: Wall will be better then Rose in the near future.

He's Rondo with a more developed jumper. He would look even more impressive.

Whoa... Rondo played good in the 2008 Finals, but I don't think he played great enough to say they wouldn't have won the title without him.

I think they lose the finals without him IMO.

I don't understand why everyone is so quick to say every other good young point guard with potential will be better than Rose in the near future.

I don't think Rose has a top on his potential, I don't think these other players are just going to pass him up. This is definitely going to take more than one season to decide.

I clearly remember Rondo sitting on the bench for Eddie House because Rondo was a liability from the line and shooting the ball.

That series was won with defense, Pierce outplaying Kobe and KG/Perkins punking Pau.

Mr. Knick, If Pierce isnt on that team, or KG, or Ray Allen, they dont make it. I can guarantee that. I feel like because Rondo is clearly the primary ball handler and distributer, you take away credit from 3 Hall of Famers, 2 off which were most known for their top 10 skill in the league. Pierce and Allen were great because of their athleticism, it because of their basketball IQ and skill and the definitely havent lost that. Replace Allen and Pierce with Iguodala and Maggette, do you think Rondo's getting 10 assists?

I'm saying this, had Wall went to a team where he had a good player, he'd be putting up like 23-5-10 right now. I think he wins ROY with like 17-4-9 this season. His jumper is advancing and the issue is he has two lumbering bigs in the post with rock hands. That Philly game, they couldn't catch a cold.

Take Rondo off of the Celtics and they STILL make the playoffs and maybe when a first round game.

Take Rose off of the Bulls and they have a chance at the top pick in the draft.
