Kleb2424ParticipantWhy is it that Norman Powell is getting overlooked everywhere? The first time I saw him play he reminded me of Dion Waiters. Similar build, similar ability. With Zach LaVine taking minutes away from him his stats will never look as good as they could. I was really just wondering if anyone here knew if Powell was on the NBA radar?

llperezim not sure if this site has him ranked right now, but I know he has been in and out of the mocks for about 18 months now so if you listen to this site, he is in the fold.
Im a ucla fan and I tend to think higher of ucla players then most. But I think he is second round material whenever he comes out, possibly undrafted. He is the best defender on the bruins, the toughest player on the burins both mentally and physically and attacks the rim hard. His shot has not gotten better since his freshman year though. He is not a terrible shooter and he gets nice elevation, but its definitely still a weakness. And at 6-4, there are some height issues for sg. His ball handling is mediocre as well. But he will get some looks, possibly drafted and maybe catch on, but not a high level prospect. Love having him on the bruins though. He doesn’t force things too much and is comfortable sharing the spotlight on the perimeter with adams, kyle Anderson and Zach lavine. Powell just goes out there and works hard.
