Lemons4LifeParticipantNew York wants Rubio, so I made up a trade that could stisfy them both…
New York receives:
Ricky RubioMinnesota receives:
David Lee
Nate Robinson
Cash considerations or a future draft pick.0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/27/2009 - 6:38am #172299

dmo21Participanti have also pondered about rubio going to new york, i had a three team trade in mind tho
New York gets Rubio and Morrison
Minnesota gets New Yorks 2010 first rounder, Vujacic
Lakers get Chandler and Thomasi dont no if this would work or if the salaries would even match up, what do u think?

Knicksboy34Participantok…how about this trade bewteen Washington, New York and Minnesota
Minnesota gets- Nick Young, Nate Robinson, Larry Hughes, 2010 2nd rounder( Was) and Cash
New York gets- Corey Brewer, Ricky Rubio, 2010 1st rounder (Min via Den Via Cha) and Andray Blatche
Washington gets- Wilson Chandler, David Lee and Ryan Gomes.

gatorheelsParticipantKnicksboy- The Wizards are getting a lot from that trade. That would be loaded with talent and would do that deal no doubt. That seems like a fair trade for New York. However, the problem is the TWolves wouldn’t do the trade. Gomes is thier starting PF, Brewer still has a ton of potential, & we all know about Rubio. Minnesota gets Nick Young (backup SG at best), Nate Robinson (backup combo guard), Larry Hughes (backup SG)….that is simply garbage.
citrusiswow- The TWolves don’t need David Lee…..that is the problem….they already have Al Jerfferson who is better than Lee. Plus Nate Robinson really doesn’t improve Minnesota at all.
dmo21- The problem with your trade in my eyes is that the Lakers would be stealing. They are giving up Morrison & Vujacic (who are both worthless) for a promising young talent in Chandler.

TyroberParticipantthese trades are insane
citrusiswow. do you realize that a nba trade pretty much has to be dollar for dollar. plus david lee and nate would have to be sign and trades when means NY has to get back some players so there is absulutely no chance of that happening.
dmo21- another crazy trade.the nys first rounder would be nice IF THAT HAD IT. there pick next year doesnt even belong to them. Hooray mr. thomas for that. so no go on that one bud.

dmo21Participantdid not know that they traded that pick away, but other than that it looked pretty fair for all sides i thought… and vujacic can still be a pretty good player if he starts shooting like the machine again

Lodzio20ParticipantThat would be great trade for T’Wolves but bad for Knicks…Rubio is overrated!!

TyroberParticipantminne isnt getting enough for rubio though. vujacic can be a nice shooter but hes overpaid unless hes shooting lightouts. i just dont think minne is giving up rubio unless its for a decent shooting guard and center. flynn or rubio will be traded eventually. theres no reason for them to keep both.

DWadeBIWParticipantit would never happen like that

Lemons4LifeParticipantTyrober don’t copy Gatorheels. First of all this was just a trade for Rubio to go to NY.
