Being a die-hard Knicks fan, I was pretty happy with Rautins, and expecting them to grab either Stephenson or Ebanks or Varnardo...then LANDRY FIELDS?! Did anyone have him on their entire draft board? Ridiculous. Way to waste money on a bad pick, no matter how much it cost them. Unless they get rid of Fields and get their money back, which I doubt, I seriously don't know if they're gonna be big free agent players this year.

Very disappointed.

I dont like Knicks fans but right now, I just feel sorry for them.. They could have had, like someone said, Stephenson, Warren, and Whiteside but they got Rautins and some kid I have never heard of... And to top it all off, they arent going to get Lebron because they dont have the supporting cast and money...

I am willing to take back some of the things I may have thought about NY fans because of what happened tonight... I am truly sorry for Knicks fans tonight...

Getting picked by Indiana instead of New York was probably the best thing for Lance. There would've been a lot of distractions in New York.

I agree with ButlerBulldogs. Had Stephenson gone to NY, and if NY didn't get LeBron or any good free agent. ALL the pressure would have been on him simply because he's so well known in NY as the high school king of basketball. Born Ready is going to a quiet team that doesn't get much media distractions.

LOL... I think Blake may have made that pick.. They could have done it just to show Blake that he is the man there now... Why would the Clippers draft Warren?? They have Barron and Gordon who are already a really short backcourt and the backup is Steve Blake.. Now they add Warren, another small guard.. This was very obviously for Blake Griffin...

I don't think Steve Blake is returning. He's a free-agent.

I guess NY will have to find undrafted steals.

Fields is a lot better than Rautins. New York fans just don't know him because he played on the West Coast. D'Antoni was probably familiar with him from his days in Phoenix (ASU plays Stanford in the Pac 10), and knew he would fit well in the wide-open Knicks offense. I guess Rautins can shoot the rock, and will be open a lot, if he gets any floor time.

I think Willie could be nice combo guard off the bench right away.

Knicks would've been better off drafting two undrafted guys that are actually good like Manny Harris & Sylven Landesberg. Holy crap...Fields & Rautins was absolutely awful... I mean lets just waste all our draft picks!
