Perry Jones sliding to 19th really confused me, that’s a 10 place drop and from what I know he had a good combine. Also I’m really not sold on Drummond at 2 over T-Rob.

I like to check out mocks and see different opinions because there are so many ways you can approach a mock. In that retrospect though, your mock along with most others do not have comments in your mock to see where you’re coming from. I would like to see that if you get the time…

Beal to TOR at 8 would be a surprise for sure.

That’s what I think of this mock. Waitors replacing PJ3. And I really don’t think any team in the top 10 need a Tomas Robinson. I see him falling. And the warriors don’t need a guard, why would they pick one?

At first glance these are my notes:

    1. Portland needs a PG, but I feel they’ll go for BPA and go for Lillard or Marshall at #11. I say Beal over Lillard at #6.
    2. Waiters has a guarantee from someone. It could be Toronto, but I think it’s Philly, or maybe Houston or Phoenix. I doubt a team picking #8 would give out a guarantee three weeks before the draft, which is why I’m guessing Philly.
    3. Jeremy Lamb would be a blessing if he fell to Detroit.
    4. I don’t see John Henson being taken in the lottery in this deep draft.
    5. Zeller and Jones at #18 and #19. Both of them slipped a bit. I can’t see Jones falling to 19 in the real draft.
    6. Fab Melo / Festus Ezeli. If both are on the board by picks #27 and #28 they’ll go to Miami and OKC for sure.
    7. Tony Wroten at #32. They still have him in the second round? Based off potential he could go mid – late teens, but most likely he’ll go in the 20s. I don’t see him falling to the second round.

I could easily see Wroten falling to the 2nd round because he has no position offensively and plays a terrible brand of basketball. The majority of teams drafting late first are usually good teams or teams on the cusp, why would they want a player like that?

Jeremy Lamb at #9 is a joke.

the Celtics not picking Fab Melo with one of their picks. Will all the unannounced "promises" it’s enevitable that some people have to fall.

Can you explain how Lamb in Detroit would be a blessing when they already have Stuckey, Knight, & Gordon?

Perry Jones falling that far is ridiculous. Zeller I think is a lotta pick too

Man I sure hope OKC picks up one of them. Ezeli to me has more offensive potential, but Melo is a very big body that can get boards and oops and can replace Mohammed

lillard and waiters are def. too high for my personal likes

pj3 will not fall that far, and i understand not in the lotto, but 19??? i really like pj3 to the hornets, porland, pistons or warriors. teams are looking for a star player, and thats what pj3 can be. im not a pj3 love boy or a hater, im being real. i think over looking all his potential is a bit foolish, together with wroten’s potential.

tyller zeller is a C, henson is a power forward. rockets need a C.

kris middleton to okc? i said it early in the season when people had him going in the first… i do not like him as a first round pick. together with kris joseph.

jared cunninham stock rose, im a fan of his.

hollis thompson was going undrafted last mock, good to see him in.

quincy acy stock def went up, he did much better than i thought he would do in measurement, and we all know he can jump outta the gym.

kevin jones all the way down to 50?

The Raptors are not selecting Dion Waiters.  They are sold on DeRozan at shooting guard and are obviously after a small forward.  If Perry Jones III is on the board they are selecting him.

I agree they are after a small forward, but I don’t believe BC is the type to draft based solely on need. He’ll make a list of Best Players Available and go by that. Last year I remember Colangelo saying that Brandon Knight would NOT drop passed 5th pick. Lo and behold, Cleveland reached for Tristan Thompson and that Raps drafted Valanciunas. Knight ended up falling to Detroit. Anything can happen come draft night. DeRozan is nice but I don’t believe they should draft solely on need at this point. No one is untouchable on the Raptors. The closest would probably Valanciunas and that’s even a stretch considering he’s never even played a game in the NBA yet.

Machado won’t go 60, I really think his floor is about 15-20 picks ahead of where Aran has him right now.  Without a lot of pure PG talent, despite not being a great athlete, a guy like him is in higher demand.  I feel what he’s good at out weights the fact he doesn’t have a 6’8” wingspan and a 36” vert.

At least they got Malik Wayns off the mock, he has been ranked too high for way too long.
