The thing I hope the Pistons
The thing I hope the Pistons do is let him play til he fouls out. He simply isn't getting enough minutes and it is not like he is in any major foul trouble. He isn't Darko and should be given a better chance to succeed.

Joe Johnson hit a gaming winning jumper in double OT tonight to get the win in Brooklyn. I think this was a big moment for Joe as it helps him live up to the hype and pressure of the new franchise in the New York media market. He also scored a bunch in the win against Toronto on Tuesday. I think we see a resurgence of Joe in the coming weeks.
Drummond looks good out there. I think the Pistons are either (a) restricting his minutes to keep him motivated, (b) tanking already for draft position and they know playing Drummond will win them games, or (c) keeping Monroe's minutes high to keep his stats up in preparation for an eventual trade. Because Drummond looks like a starting NBA player and he should have gotten more minutes tonight. All the talk about his motor and effort being bad I think comes down to this. He wasn't getting paid in high school and college and other folks off the court were. Now he is a pro and getting paid and he is playing against men his own size, I think now he is motivated.
