John Wall with the 1st pick of course. If they don’t get 1st pick then I think they should get whoever the next best player. I think the Nets should look at Avery Johnson as their next coach. He will make the Nets play defense. FAs they should target of course is Lebron and the other top FAs since they have a lot of cap space going in to the summer of 2010 I believe.

Get a 2010 free agent or john wall, only sure way to really improve by a measurable margin. A lot depend on the draft lottery and free agency.

If #1 pick – J Wall: They can trade Harris or just move him to the 2 spot. He played there in Dallas and wasnt exactly bad at it. Wall looks like he is going to be special so you dont pass on him.

No #1 pick – Evan Turner: He can play 1-3 which is where they need people. I see Harris or Dooling going out the door before too long. CDR is okay and Lee is okay. Williams hasnt been the player they thought so why not try again with a guy that is already better than Williams?

Coach of future – ??: IDK who its gonna be but it needs to be someone that is going to get the most out of Lopez. He is the center piece of their future. Get a guy that can use him correctly and build a team around him. He seems to be a great center already.

Future FAs – Lots: Anyone outside of the C position. Harris is pretty good but he is shown that he is replaceable and they are pretty shallow at every other position. Heck, even a backup C would be good.

What FAs should they target to make their team better? Rudy Gay, Joe Johnson, LeBron (of course), Chris Bosh or Amare Stoudemire. Terrence Williams has potential, but he is inefficient like hoy. They could also use some outside shooters.

I think the nets should try to take advantage of the expiring contracts they have. I think they should first look to make a trade. For some reason players tend to play better after being trade because they feel dissed by their original team. I would consider maybe a Kevin Martin or Anton Jamison. I think the top Free Agents know where the want to go already and i am sure its not NJ. I
