As I sit and watch the first half of the white vs red scrimmage it’s pretty clear that lebron James is the best player on the floor. His team consists of chalmers Howard j.jones Joel Anthony, pittman, haslem vs Wade, bosh, aroyo mike miller big z. James team is up 28-11 right now

LeBron is manhandling everybody on the floor. Bosh looks like crap to me. missed a ton of open jumpers & has no explosion to get to the rack. This isn’t the guy that we’re used to from Toronto.

One bad training camp practice, and people are already saying he has lost a step..

This team is truly going to be unvelievable to watch. In a meaningless scrimmage, I seen at least 5 amazing highlights that just made me say wow. Wade and LeBron are going to be soo fun to watch and their going to be really unstoppable. LeBron had this mean one handed put back, an alley oop-layup on the run, a lefty reverse, and a triple-alley oop dunk…Wade made this ridiculous lefty one handed flick shot.

Secretly, this is LeBron’s team already. He will never ever say that but in the NBA talent prevails, and he is a bigger better version of Wade. I saw the way he led a team without Bosh and Wade and dominated them without really scoring.

I noticed he still doesn’t have a post game. But when no one can stop you, guess I can’t complain too much. I know it’s premature but I think this team is scary. You can’t clog the lane because of the shooters, you can’t double because you have two top 5 players who are slashers. So its really pick your poison for the next six seasons. They dont have a good center or point guard, the two most important positions in the league.

I saw Arroyo is absolutely horrible. He palms on every dribble and is not needed IMO.

My early prediction: LeBron will win a 3rd straight MVP with a drop in scoring and increase in rebounds and assists. I think he’ll get it because of how much the media will hype and cover them this season. He will be so good and "vindicated" after a bad summer, image-wise.

I think they win 69 games and win it all. lol

He was wearing some sort of brace on his right knee, so my guess is that he probably isn’t 100 percent. Maybe he isnt in perfect shape, but 25 year olds dont just suddenly not be explosive, especially ones with as much pressure on them as Bosh.

Chalmers isn’r going to cut it and Arroyo certainly isn’t going to cut it. I actually like Patrick Beverly at the 1 for them. They can use a guy who is ok playing off ball, and will add some speed and on ball pressure at the point.

Magloire is awful, I cant believe he made an all star team once.

Dexter Pittman worked HARDD this summer, he is in amazing shape.

James Jones is alot taller than I remembered, and I used to see him at UM all the time. He must have grown in the pros, that fool is lanky.

Joel Anthony looks alot more confident now that hes got his money. He can be a poor mans Perk for them. I for one think they really need Dampier.

Bosh was wearing a huge knee brace and not pushing it at all. I think the transition might be the toughest for him, his role will be very different.

Not sure how they find the minutes for U and Mike Miller unless Bosh plays a substantial amount of his minutes at C.

Lebron is ready to go, no prisoners this year. I dont think he has ever played angry before, and when he does, like messing with Spike in the Garden, lookout.

Man am I excited for Sports. My Canes are gonna put a whoopin on Clemson.

i thought lebron looked great in every aspect except shooting. His jumper was off, but he was just doing everything else getting his teammates open looks and it is very clear to me that should be his team.

Wade was fantastic as well. His jumper looked money and he made some moves to the basket that were vintage wade. It was clear though that the miami bigs didnt want to risk hurting them becasue they sort of made hals assed swiped at the ball and didnt risk any serious contact to the rim.

Bosh wasnt great but wasnt terrible either. You could tell he occasionally decided i need to remind everyone im one of the big 3 so he forced some stuff but he had some spin moves around the hoop.

Arroyo struggled bug time throwing multiple turnovers and chalmers didnt do much to stand out. But since lebron and wade are essentially the pg’s all they have to do is hit jumpers and play some d.

Haslem and big z both looked real solid. Z is still slow on defense but he nailed a couple jumpers and haslem was getting to the rim and looked like he could create his own offense a little. but for haslem to get a lot of minutes, he or bosh are gonna play center and that can be trouble for them.

Mike miller was typical in that he just plays really solid and even his misses look like they are cash but he doesnt force much and tends to blend in.

Not much we can take away fom this game in terms of chemistry issues esepcially since wade and lebron were only on the court together for like 12 minutes.

I also thought he looked like he was in great shape, he must have worked his tail off. Also, your former Cane James Jones has always been one of my favorite role players. His jumper is butter, great three point shooter, he and Miller will both probably be around 40-45%, Jones probably even higher. The Center position will be a possible problem, but I could see Bosh getting a lot of time next too Udonis Haslem, who can be an undersized Center, like he was at Florida and has been at times for the Heat. I only saw a bit of the second scrimmage, but I thought Chris Bosh looked like Chris Bosh to me. He was very hard to defend in the post and still had that butter mid range jumper. He is, without a doubt, the best third option in the game on offense, and while he is more of a natural 4, I am sure he will play 5 at times. He has indeed slimmed down, but I think that has become the way of the NBA. While he was a total beast last year with the added weight, it appeared that he lost some of his mobility. I actually think his losing weight will make him even more of a tough cover, and while his role has definitely changed, I still would rank him in the upper echelon of PF’s. Winning only helps your status there, and that team will win eventually, and I think as soon as this year.

I’m not writing him off 1 bit, but it was obvious he wasn’t moving well off the dribble.

He put on some muscle mass, but lost weight…I would think that’d make him faster. I know it was probably just an off day for him shooting wise and I know his mid-range J will be cash when the real season rolls around, but anyone who hoops knows that explosion isn’t a here today, gone tomorrow thing.
