While everybody knows players nowadays takes as much rest as possible, and stars plays less and less, we have to compare that difference because it’s just huge

I took the season 10years ago as an example. That’s the year Kobe went for 35.4ppg, A.I. and LeBron got over 30 also and everybody in top10 avg over 25…BUT..

That year out of top4 scorer Kobe averaged the least minutes and its still was rudiculious 41.0 mpg!

The least minutes in all top ten was Carmelo with 36.8 while out of this year’s top10 scorers ONLY Harden plays more than 37 and mobody come even close to 40mpg, as it was normal for superstar last decade.

So I decided to check per 40 minutes stats for them. Check it out:

    1. Stephen Curry 36.2ppg

    2. DeMarcus Cousind 31.3ppg

    3. Kevin Durant 31ppg

    4. James Harden 30.5ppg

    5. Damian Lillard 28.7ppg

    6. Russell Westbrook 28ppg

    7. LeBron James 27.7ppg

    8. Isaiah Thomas 26.9ppg

    9. Paul George 26.7ppg

    10. Anthony Davis 26.7ppg

Offcourse because of some players fatigue and everything maybe these stats realistically would by something like by 1ppg lower but still these are some crazy number.

How do you think, do something with shooting so much more threes has something to do with this or is it just the real too many players peaked?

And how about Steph’s all statline? 36.2 ppg 6.2rpg 7.8apg 2.5spg!!! He is crazy good
