     I would like to know, are there any LEGIT players outside of Jamal Crawford, who openly accepts his role and prefers to contribute off the bench for his career in the NBA?

    first one that comes to mind is JR Smith. He’s never been a long term starter, and as far as I know hasn’t had any complaints about being the sixth man

    Jamison in 04 had one of the best years for a sixth man and maybe his best year as a pro.

    Sweet Lou Will is my favorite role player from the bench. I just LOVE everything about him, even from a model citizen help he is to the city of Philadelphia.

    The whole sixth man thing is a little over blown. Crawford averages close to 30 minutes a game every year. He may not start the game, but he always finishes it, and they play to his scoring strengths by using him in rotation when other scorers are on the bench.

    I was just using Crawford as an example. Guys like Gordon and Korver are liabilities on defense.

    Harden averages 32 minutes a game, so the same can be applied to him. He is the scorer when Durant and Westbrook are resting. It just makes sense, otherwise he would never get a shot, ha. Why would these guys complain?
