jaysmith1987ParticipantWith the nba expecting a lockout next season what do people think will happen with players in college and the pros?Do people think the lockout stops some players from coming out early? Interesting fact I found out if there is a lockout players such as lebron wade and durant will not be able to play next year but melo will because his contract runs out at end of this season. If there’s lockout how long do people think it will last?

llperezif a lockout happens, it will probably be for 1 whole season. As for the college guys, the lockout wont be official until after the NBA draft and quite a while after the declare date for guys entering the draft. SO my guess is the lockout wont have much impact on them unless it is very clear the lockout will likely happen by the declaring date for the draft.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantMelo and Iverson to get Yao and unite with Marbury in China. Bring Carl Landry with them. DOMINATE CHINA. Make a shoe company named the Fab5, force chinese children to work for them making 5 cents a day.
Leave China the following year after an undefeated season and a championship. Come back to the U.S. and market their new shoe brand while still making them in factories and sweat shops in China. Become billionaires and put Nike, Adidas, and Reebok out of business. Sign on the same team and relocate that team to Las Vegas, rename it "Las Vegas’ Fabulous 5" Make casinos and hotel resorts. Sell their shoes in Las Vegas and wait for the next lockout to play in Mexio and do it all over again., but this time, sign Eduardo Najera and Romel Beck.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantWith the nba expecting a lockout next season what do people think will happen with players in college and the pros?
College players that don’t like college, need the money, or simply want to go to the NBA will do so.
Do people think the lockout stops some players from coming out early?
Less than many people think. It isn’t like the league will close up shop forever.
Interesting fact I found out if there is a lockout players such as lebron wade and durant will not be able to play next year but melo will because his contract runs out at end of this season. If there’s lockout how long do people think it will last?
Not that long. The union is not strong and a 50 percent share of the revenues is better than nothing. They’ll take the hit, and the owners who over-leveraged themselves when buying the teams at the peak of the bubble will get bailed out by this new CBA.

boxn1ParticipantIt seems like when the lockout happens more than if according to most reports and stories floating around the net. I think it will be short lived. The owners making most of the complaints can’t afford to be locked out for long. At most the season may start late. This past summer scared a lot of owners and they will bend to make sure things like players taking their talents to south beach will be more difficult to do.
And if a player is under contract during a lockout they can’t play in another league
