Eric Gordon is listed as 6’3 215 and Dion Waiters is listed as 6’4 215. Both very Built players for someone there size. What are Similarties and Differences in there Games?

What Does Dion Waiters do better than Eric Gordon?(if anything) Could Dion Waiters ever be as good as Eric Gordon? Does Waiters have All Star Potential? If he is anything close to D-Wade he could battle Eric Gordon for the best SG in the league for the next decade.

Eric Gordon is much quicker and athletic than Dion. He can also shoot it well and is a solid defender, which Dion isn’t due to Syracuse zone defense. Dion is very overweight which is why he struggled in the summer league so his 215 lbs compared to Eric Gordon and dwades 220 lbs is not lean muscle and is fat. The Dwade comparisons have to stop Dwade is in an athletic tier with few people, Dwade is also 6’5 220 with a monster wingspan

Eric Gordon is a proven scorer in the NBA, Dion is a 6th man from a college team that Cleveland drafted way to high. In my eyes Dion is nowhere near were Eric Gordon is right now. Dion has lots of question marks he needs to answer … Dion’s game should be more comparied to Rodney Stucky from Detriot, combo gaurd who can get to the basket who is not very athletic but can score in different ways. Eric Gordon is an athlete unlike Dion. Dion and Eric may play the same position but their games are different. My guess is the Dion is going to be a bust….. There were much better players on the board @ the #4 pick.

The wade comparisons need to end, but Eric Gordon is pretty close.  Dion is actually very athletic, even though he was way out of shape in the summer league because he didn’t go to the combine – check his highlights.  Both are combo guards.  I would say Gordon is a more consistant shooter while Dion is much better at getting to the hoop and finishing.

Not sure if Waiters is better at getting to the hole than Gordon….. Gordon shoots 6-7 freethrows a game, which is very high. If Dion can do that …. that would be impressive.

Eric Gordon is also better at playing without the ball.

You put Gordon with Kyrie Irving and you have the best backcourt in the league… You put Dion Waiters with Irving and you wonder how they’re going to work.

Yea, by going hard and taking hard falls/hits. He’ll have to change his game a little. I think he’ll turn it around.

 The difference is, Eric Gordon was the main trade chip in a deal for Chris Paul, one if the greatest PGs in the history of the game. I don’t care if you say new Orleans was just looking for the best deal because he was bound to leave, that is still high praise. Waiters is an unestablished rookie. Let’s see him play a bit before we make judgements. To say he does anything better than EG at this point is silly.

the real story should be Bradley Beal, that who will be better than Eric Gordon. cause he is much more pure and refine shooter with better feel for the game as well.
