     Looks about right to me.

Next in: Hassan Whiteside, Dirk, and Damian Lillard.  Marc Gasol has a shot, but the West is deeper, and he needs to be more consistent.

I wonder if there will be any surprises with the All Star voting.  Hopefully Kobe doesn’t get voted in.  But I imagine that Steph and Russ are the starting guards on something like 75% of the ballots.

How big are the Knicks die hard fans?  Do they vote Carmelo in?  Does Porzingas get in?

Now with All Stars it is two guards and free front court guys.

For the East, it is definitely LeBron and Paul George, but I think the third spot is open even though I think Andre Drummond SHOULD get it (doesn’t mean he will though).  So it will be between Drummond, Kevin Love, Pau Gasol, and Carmelo.  Knicks fans will be the wild card, so who knows what they do…  Whiteside and Bosh should also get recognition.  If Milsap doesn’t make the team I would look for one of those two Heat bigs to make it.

Similar but I voted Lowry in above Wall. For me Wall has just disappointed when I thought he would be even better this year. While Lowry has been a force to be reckoned with and shooting well beyond the arc at 2.8 3pg and .380%.

I also voted Draymond in as a starter above Griffin becuase I can not believe he is averagaing 7 assists a game!!! For a big that is amazing I love it.

I can’t see any scenario where Kobe isn’t a starter.  I imagine he finishes no lower than 2nd or 3rd in TOTAL votes.  Not saying that his play has warranted a spot on the All star team outside of a lifetime achievement award nomination from Adam Silver, but the fans will surely vote him in.

If the Celtics can get into to the top half of the playoff teams in the east, I think Thomas’ numbers and impact deserves consideration.

21 ppg, 7 apg, and 1.4 spg on with a better TS% than Wall and similar to Lowry.

Well first off, I’m glad we don’t gave to lower the standards as far as picking an all-star this year in the east. Secondly, to mARkfitz draymond has always been a great passer even back to Michigan state, plus he has the advantage of being really a small forward going against other mostly true power forwards on a nightly basis, so i guess im not as amazed as you about what he is doing in the nba. Now to the picks.

    East

-Wall, best pg in the east, playing without beal, & his 2&3 options for most of the year is otto & gortat, not gonna get you to the playoffs.

    Wade or butler

    George

    James

    Drummond

    Bench-

Batum, hornets go from.bad to really go, & don’t drop off when Jefferson is hurt, one of the best teams, many said plus Portland always "want to see more from.batum, is capable" he is showing it now.

    Wade or butler

    Millsap

    Melo

    Lowry

Last 2, out of thomas love gasol & dark horse, brook Lopez. In more recent years guys have been picking players on bad teams, so him.making the team shouldn’t put people off, especially considering love, davis & cousins have all been all-stars. Plus brooklyn would be as bad as the Lakers if not for him.

    West-

    Curry

    Westbrook

    Durant

Some combo of davis, cousins& griffin for the last 2 spots

    Bench-

Whoever is left out of the starting lineup of davis, griffin& cousins

Harden who needs to do a better job leading his team

Gasol, not his fault the coach & ownership is trying to do a idiotic mix of pound it inside and small ball

    Leonard

    Aldridge

    Paul

    Green

I know I been ambiguous with a lot of my picks, but can you blame me, if you do, don’t care, a 4th of the players in this games have been incosistant throughout the year, plus there is always that prestige vote versus the in the present actual talent vote. Either this is my say

Has anyone else noticed teams these days have ‘Vote for player x’ campagnes for players that arent even close to All Star Calibre?

I’m all for hypping up fringe All Stars…but some of the players that are being promoted have no chance of making it on either merit or popularity.

I actually take it personally lol.

Wiggins as of late is making a push to deserve a spot.  As a raps fan I dont think you will see 2 off the bench.  Really need Kyle to get the fan vote to start like he deserves.  He has been lights out and leading the Rap to well above my expectations. Demar in my mind is 50/50, I think Isiah is doing big things in Boston and Teague is deserving some talk.  I would love to see both get consideration but I dont think it going to happen this year..

Since the starters are based on fan voting there is NO WAY KD isn’t voted in as a starter.

How delusional can people be to assume that Drummond gets a fan vote over Melo. Even Jimmy Butler getting the fan vote over D-Wade is farfetched.

Also as stacked as the West is, especially with bigs, there is no way a player on a bad team (Cousins) gets a coach vote for a reserve spot. The way its looking out West, there may not even be room for Dirk or anyone of his Mavs and they’re currently 4th in the conference.

And Kobe gets in as a starter for sure:

    EAST:
    Wall
    Wade
    Bron
    PG
    Melo

    Butler
    Lowry

How delusional can people be to assume that Drummond gets a fan vote over Melo. Even Jimmy Butler getting the fan vote over D-Wade is farfetched.

Also as stacked as the West is, especially with bigs, there is no way a player on a bad team (Cousins) gets a coach vote for a reserve spot. The way its looking out West, there may not even be room for Dirk or anyone of his Mavs and they’re currently 4th in the conference.

And Kobe gets in as a starter for sure:

    EAST:
    Wall
    Wade
    Bron
    PG
    Melo

    Butler
    Lowry
    Drummond
    Bosh
    Love
    Milsap
Irving (only if Irving gets fan voted – then Wall takes his place on the bench)

    WEST:
    Curry
    Kobe
    Durant
    Blake
    AD

    Kawhi
    Westbrook
    Thompson
    Aldridge
    Green
    Harden
    CP3
