Players you consider the NBA’s average players. Not all stars, superstars, trash, or bad players… but average by your own definition(?).

    Luke Ridnour

    Brandon Bass

    Delonte West

    Samuel Dalembert

    Trevor Ariza

Those are some players that fit your criteria. Some are probably a little better than average, but not superstars orf allstars

Trevor Ariza to me has become a three point specialist who can’t shoot threes. His field goal % from before his huge contract w/ Houston till after it the past three years has dropped 7 points, from 47% to 40%. He’s not trash because he does put up double figure point, but his ineffectiveness and willingness to continue to jack up threes when they’re not falling to me has him as a slightly below average player. Maybe I’m being too technical though, lol.

Brandon Bass is definatly an above average player, no doubt about it.

Yeah I feel like Ridnour and Bass are above average, but his criteria was Not all stars, superstars, trash, or bad players and they fit that.

15 players on a team so average would be the 7th or 8th man. No starter would by definition be average.

I’m gonna take this a bit further and find the most average player I can.  Year in and year out the average height and weight is usually around 6’6.5” 220 lbs or so and around 4.5 years of experience.

    I’m going Ronnie Brewer

6’7” 226 lbs 27 years old, and a 6 year pro with career averages of 9 ppg and 3 rpg.

I like to think of it as more like Jeff Green or Jared Dudley or Matt Barnes.

Guys are who average at everything… Not good, nor bad at a single thing. They all play a little defense, can shot somewhat, will rebound, can pass, haven’t decent size, etc… They’re just not good at any of it, but they still help teams win games.

To fit your 5 criteria, I guess I’ll throw in Marvin Williams and Landry Fields.
