Hacker90ParticipantHas anyone heard what school he might choose?
I’m really hoping he comes to UT. I would love to see the front court of Holmes, Turner and Ridley w/ Prince Ibeh coming off the bench. With Isaiah Taylor having a year under his belt now, having Turner sign with UT would make for a very interesting season next year. I’ll have my fingers crossed.
Where would everyone else like to see him go?

Robb_CParticipantBarnes Flex offense suits Turner perfectly… I would like to see him playing for Texas as well.

Hacker90ParticipantThey would be able to play well together. Turner has a nice pick and pop game from what I’ve been able to see of him for his size, along with his length/athleticism they should be perfectly fine together

druneave3ParticipantAt Power Forward and Center. Yes and a good match. Turner can slash and shoot while Cam works the block and high post.

QuickPostCParticipantI’d like to see him sign with Duke and make an awesome tandem with Okafor. I think they could play together and Turner would be able to hone his high post jumper and be a monster on D.

Jayhawks2011ParticipantI think its down to Kansas and Texas.
Him and Cliff would create a tough mismatch in KU’s high low offense. Turner would be fantastic at the top and give Cliff a ton of room to do what he does. The only problem is KU’s front line is already pretty stacked with Ellis, Alexander, Traylor, Mickleson, and Lucas. We’ll see.
Dark horse is SMU. Him and Mudiay would put SMU in the national scene with a good supporting cast that won the NIT this year.

PlatypusParticipantI know it wont happen but think about if he went to Michigan and Stasukas stays
Walton – Levert – Stauskas – Mcgary – Turner
Spike – Irvin – Robinson (6th man) – Biefeldt – Doyle
Team would have some serious potential

NeggedFolyfehe sounds very concerned about education not any body gets into duke so I think he will look at duke and Kansas is ok to be a great big but showing your able to play with another good big will make you look even better in the nba you will play with another starting quality big and if you can help or make them better a lot of teams will pay you to play for them.

HitsterParticipantTexas would seem like a nice fit for Myles Turner, he’d be on a team which nearly always makes NCAA tournament but would not be on a team which is expected to really challenge next year so could spend a year developing under Coach Barnes.

Robb_CParticipantI think Ridley and Turner could coexist.. a lot of flex is ran with a passing forward playing the top of the free throw line with another big down low setting flex screens for the wing..
Barnes does a great job turning forwards into pretty solid nba talent, this is in part to the fact that a lots of teams in the NBA have been using lots of sets that are ran with Flex patterns.. catering to the recent trend of stretch 4’s… University of Texas would make Myles Turner the most NBA ready in my opinion

BiggysmallsParticipantYo JayHawks don’t be hatin on my Gophs in the NIT! In all seriousness I think SMU would be sweet if Turner went there too. They could legitimately win the AAC if that happens and Brown plays the youngsters.
I don’t know why he’d go to Kansas unless Ellis is going to transfer or something. Who knows who would start, but the minutes would get bogged down because of all the depth.
Is Turner a legit 1 and done type guy or is he someone who may take a little time before being a high level impact guy?
