wesleymatthews23ParticipantNO always drafts the best available. David West is about to be traded, because Paul needs another partner to help him out. Whiteside will take awhile to develop. Whoever drafts him will need to be patient and be willing to wait. I don’t think the Hornets can afford to be patient. The only good piece they have is Chris Paul, they rest don’t really serve much of a role. Whiteside would fit, but again how soon could he develop? I think the Hornets will take someone to replace David West, and has a best chance to fill in right now, not in 2 or 3 more years.
Toronto already has a player like Mony in Bargnani, why would they want to draft another one? I know they like international players but that does not mean that they will draft an international every year. Besides, Bargnani natural position is a 4 not a 5 which is where he plays now. Would it not be more logical to draft a Center and let Bargnani play his natural position?
Houston needs a center to replace Yao. You never know, it could happen again. At 14, there wont be many left, so they might try to replace Yao through the offseason or draft day trades, but even if that were to happen they would not draft Henry. They already have a great 2 guard in Kevin Martin. Drafting another one would just create to much cunjunction at the 2 guard. Martin would be fine with sitting, but I don’t think Coach Adelman would start a rookie, especially one who’s game is not ready for the NBA quite yet. The only way the Rockets would draft Henry is if they plan to trade him for the center that they really want.
Not a bad draft though.0 - Posted on: Thu, 04/29/2010 - 4:39am #298901

jwet33ParticipantI have Udoh to the Raptors, next time look. And Bargangi is a scorer and Udoh is defensive minded, I think Bosh for Lee in sign and trade is realistic…so Udoh backing up one of them…realistic. I went with best available for the Rockets, plus they only really have Martin at SG, unless your telling me that Ariza is a SG, but he’s not, he’s a SF, Along with Battier and Budinger. So no, there won’t be too much “conjunction” at the 2 spot. Lemme see your mock draft. And N.O. I never heard of West being traded because PAUL needs another runnning mate. Okafor should be the one to go, he really does suck, Whiteside, yes a work in progress, but who knows, ya just never know how these drafts are going to go.

kaceyParticipantI know the Wizards already have Blatche, but I don’t see them passing on Greg Monroe if he is available. The Wizards are in dire need of some positive change, and drafting the local college kid would definitely be a step in the right direction for this franchise.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if they nabbed Vasquez in the 2nd round if he is available.
