SwatLakeCityParticipantMy only problem is Detroit’s pick (Terrance Ross) They already have a SG in Stuckey who is playing great and another good backup in Ben Gordon. So Ross wouldn’t really fit there. Maybe you consider more of a 3 instead of a 2. He could replace Prince, but I think that’s what they have Jerebko or Daye for. (Besides, who says Prince will retire or leave the Pistons? If anybody is going to retire or leave the Pistons it would be Ben Wallace) I think it would make more sense if Detroit went after a big man, and put him right beside Monroe. What about Jared Sullinger or Thomas Robinson or Moultrie. Anyone of those picks would make more sense.

PlatypusParticipantPicks i dont understand:
1. Portland, too high for Lamb
2. Detroit, they resigned Stuckey last off season and have BG’s contract
3. Utah, 9 overall, too high for marshall
4. Utah, 16 overall, They have so many big men already
5. Philly, 19 overall, they already have Thadeus Young
6. Toronto, 35 overall, they have Davis, Johnson, Bargnani, and next year they will get Jonas
7. Denver, 44 overall, they have 4 centers on there current roster
8. Houston (actually Detroits), 47 overall, they had just drafted a back up power forward at 37

MJBrownParticipantI actually really like your idea of Perry Jones to Phoenix. Nash is there for a couple years at the most and he definitely is a career maker for many. I think with Jones potential, having Nash around will really help him out, and inevitably help the franchise. The only problem is — I doubt he escapes the top ten

Future_Scout Mockdraftross is a 2-3. pistons don’t need a unathletic big who doesn’t play good defense and is mainly a post scorer. maybe the best fit is meyers leonard but i like ross more
and this is first round only0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/29/2012 - 1:20pm #653069
HadzialijagicParticipantIf i was the pistons in that position I would pray for us to trade our pick. This is how i think the pistons options should look:
1 Davis
2 Kidd Gilchrist
3 Robinson
4 Drummond
5 Barnes
6 Trade.Im praying for us to win the lottery as the only players that work for the team and are good enough to warrant a top 10 pick are close to consensus top 5 picks.

ChrisCrossParticipantHonestly, don’t sweat about your mock until the lotto, no point until then, and even then things will change

juves4783Participanthere are my thoughts:
i have a hard time thinking the wiz won’t take drummond or t-rob over a sf because they drafted vesely and singleton last year.
after the tourney, i think beal solidified himself as the top sg in the draft. i have lamb in the late lottery and ross in the middle to late first.
i have sullinger and perry jones switched up. i think perry jones athleticism translates better to the speed of jennings and ellis run and gun style.
i like the nuggets drafting a pg because their frontcourt and wing depth is stacked. andre miller is off the books so they will need to look for a backup.
