dmo21Participant1) Heat
2) Pacers
3) Raptors
4) Chicago
5) Brooklyn
6) Washington
7) Bobcats
8) Knicks
I know I gave the Heat home advantage throughout the playoffs, but that’s the only realistic way I could get them to play the Knicks in the first round. A Carmelo verse Lebron first round would be crazy. Plus the Knicks have big men who can give Bosh trouble on offence or defence. New York also has guys who can go crazy from deep, which breaks down the Heat D.
So let’s say the Heat win in a hard fought 6 games, Pacers easily beat the Bobcats in 4, Raptors narrowly beat the Wiz in 7, and a veteran and finally healthy Brooklyn team beats Chicago in 5.
Heat then have to play the Nets who are built for the playoffs. Nets can start a big lineup of Williams, Johnson, Pierce, Garnet, and Blatche which will give the heat problems down low and on the perimeter.
Still not enough to beat the Heat. So let’s say Heat win in a tough 7 games while the Pacers easily beat the Raps in 5 (hard for me to say as a Toronto fan). Now we have a well rested Pacers team going against a Heat team who had to fight through the first 2 rounds. It’ll be tough, but let’s say Pacers in 7.

dmo21ParticipantI don’t know why the formatting on this site always cuts out my first and last paragraph. But to sum it up, this is my ideal playoff picture to reduce the chances of the Heat winning.

Land of GrantParticipantI like it but you’re a lil quick writing off the Bulls… Nets is 5? 5? Have you seen Noah play lately?
Nets in 6 or 7 I can get behind, though, and I like that the East has 2 mid-seeded playoff teams that seems built for the postseason, Brooklyn and Chicago.
Any ETA on The Return of Rose?

Kinguy11ParticipantI would’ve given Bulls over Nets in 6-7 to be honest. Other than that, I do like this scenairo of yours and I hope it plays out this way.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantI’d rather see Miami & Cleveland 1st round series.

adumParticipantYes pacers are "better" than the raptors but to say they easily bear them I’d have to disagree.
I beleive Toronto has a chance to make a run if they play pacers maybe just maybe taking them to 7.
just my opnion
