geothermalParticipantwith all the talk on the lottery teams and all the high picks, i cant seem to see a topic about the Spurs and who would they draft, they dont have a first round pick, they have 59th overall pick, would they trade again to acquire a higher pick?,
and what are there pre season moves? surely they need to address the team’s needs, they need to have a next big project,
surely there team revolves around tony parker now, and they need to rebuild?? or should they make one final push for the playoffs?

SpacegrassParticipantHighly unlikely they take him , but draft Renardo "Fat" Sidney. If anyone can turn around his terrible diet and attitude it will be the Spurs , it’s not like the guy is not talented.
To your question about why a Spurs draft topic has not come up? I mean it’s the 59th pick , not exactly going to be picking a game changer here. Hell if who they pick makes the roster it’s a great pick.

geothermalParticipanti know its the 59th pick, but with spurs???,
they made there 58th pick into Manu ginobli,
they got a history of wise drafting, i think they are going for a international player and wait for him to develop

ChewyParticipantThis year has been absolutely horrible for international prospects.

drk3351Participantwith any other team i would think the 59th pick is practically worthless. but with the spurs…

TomShoeParticipantI would like either Renardo Sidney, Garrett Stutz, or Henry Sims. They’re all big bodies, and the Spurs need those if they can’te get Kaman. Hopefully one of them could be a good rotation player.

HeelsGuy25Participantcould go in any direction. I could see them grab a player like Mike Scott, Yancy Gates or Sims. They could use a pg too even though word is de colo is coming over. Dee Bost, Tyrel Stoglin ir Spanish pg Franc coulbe in play possibly. This late though, no one knows haha

RUDEBOY_ParticipantIn 2011 Popovich said he thought Renardo Sidney was the most talented player in college…There have been rumors that he believes he can turn him around..And the Spurs also have been rumored to really like 6’10 center Travis Hyman of Bowie State…Who i think might be 1 of the sleepers in this draft….

TRC1991ParticipantTravis Hyman is old but hes a true C who can block shots
