Alan Anderson…he refuses to pass the basketball, he shot the ball every single time he touched it and a lot of his shots were contested mid-ranged jumpers that rimmed hard off the back iron… For those who watch the Raptors on a regular basis: is that how he normally is?

Yeah he had a nice drive n dunk to bring his squad into overtime but I just felt very bitter watching him play because I know what its like to play with ball hogs, its demeaning and discouraging

sorry, to answer your question, yes that is how he plays. people were really high on him early on because he was on a good shooting streak but his real numbers are showing now and im just glad that he doesnt get to play much now that gay is here, although gay doesnt really do much different

He’s super streaky, and he really is a solid player. But lately he’s thought he’s Kobe or MJ and literally shoots it everytime he touches it.

Now he’s stealing T-Ross’s minutes and that just makes me sad.

The best way to sum up Alan Anderson….

When he comes into the the game you’re like “Oh my… not him again.”

He misses his first shot and you’ll be like “See, I told you he shouldn’t have come in!”

Now this is where it gets tricky…

He can start making his shots and you’ll cringe when you see release the ball, and then it’ll go in and you’ll be like “Hey that ain’t so bad” and he will have a good shooting game

    OR….

He will take a shot over three defenders when you Gay, Lowry and Valanciunas wide open in the post and you’ll be like “KGNKJDSBGKDJBKSSKAJGHKSDJBGS” about to punch your t.v lol

AND… he will CONSTANTLY keep shooting.

overall he’s a good bench player for the raps he just has to know his role. he can do a little bit of everything but he gets something in his head telling him that he’s a #1 or 2 option. he also gets into “i’m gonna carry the team on my back” mode.

today was even worse because rudy gay wasn’t around…

on a side note ever since barg came back we’ve been losing… wth

Uh, Bargs is one of the worst players in the league. If you can’t figure out why there is a problem playing a PF who average 4.4 rebounds per game, shoots enough to average 16 points per 36, but does it on a bad 47.5% TS%, then there are probably lots of basketball mysteries left for you to uncover. Also you can apparently get a job with the Raptors coaching staff or front office. Because they seem to have some very confused notions about basketball as well. I just don’t know who in that organization is protecting this guy. Is it the GM or owner that don’t want to admit he is a total bust? Or do the coaches think that a career 36% three point shooter is such a special and rare commodity that they can overlook all of Bargs other faults? Why isn’t he just simply benched?

Bargnani isn’t one of the worst players in the NBA…that comment was a little drastic…but hes best suited as a reserve big who can stretch the court for 11-13 minutes a game…hes no starter in this league however
