Wavy BagelsParticipantHas anyone been following Andray Blatche’s progress over the summer? I believe if he enters this season with the correct attitude, leadership mentality, porper work ethic and leaves the negativity behind (ie., Strip club incident), he can be the X-Factor for the Washington Wizards from being a 20-win team to a 40+ win team. Also, if there was any progress in his game, has he finally worked on his transition from being a faceup forward to a back-to-basket forward?

Anton123ParticipantThe Wizards have so many guys that CAN be very good, pretty much at every position
Wall
Young (if he resigns)
Vesley
Blatche
McGee
It seems that every one of these players can be very very good if their put their mind to it, but the Wizards we’re probably the least mature and focused team in the league, if they can solve that, they can be good

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantIf he’s in decent shape he could be the go to guy on the block, but I’ve not seen him yet to say that much…

Da1potParticipantBlatche is very talented, has some of the best post moves in the NBA and converts at a high percentage in the paint and at the free throw line. However, he has a very poor shot selection amd often settles for too many Garnett-esque midrange-long twos that he does not convert at a high percentage. Although he is actually a very good passer for a big, he has the mentality that his shot is the best shot no matter what, so he will not pass the ball very much at all. Also average 1.5 steals per game which is pretty good for a power forward. If he can average a double-double, than it would be a great year for him…..
