Why does this site consider the MWC a mid-major conference? They’ve had the #1 or #2 conference rpi throughout the season. They’re probably going to get five teams into the NCAA Tournament. This is the equivalent of calling the SEC a non-BCS conference. Can somebody please elaborate?
To be fair, the SEC this year is worse than every BCS conference so that second part might not be that much of a stretch. But the smaller non-BCS schools are always going to get that mid-major label until they consistently put 4-5 teams in the tourney on a year in year out basis. Not saying I disagree with you, just my reasoning behind the term.
